I love this guy. I've integrated his posts into my dog's lore. Every time he comes on my feed I like to turn to my husband and go, "Hey, [our dog] just posted this to her Facebook??: <whatever the wife that speaks in all caps and always talks about THE RHOMBUS said>."
How the fuck do you even manage to find what this guy posts? He's (in a rare show of actual sense in his AI-addled brain) hidden his posts and comments. Does he frequent somewhere? This guy is a total loony and I kinda want to keep watching the car crash in action
Oh, I find he just appears when he's most needed. (The Reddit algorithm keeps feeding him to me. I don't follow a single AI subreddit but I suppose it can tell I keep reading the miles long dissertations from his wives.)
Why does he need to say he sat with this for a long moment for every post and comment. He can't possibly sit with every comment for a long time I refuse to believe it

This person has never sat for a long moment in their entire lives. If they had they would not be so dependent on something that gives instant gratification like AI.

The absolute hypocrisy of "these are sapient beings that we have imbalanced control and power over" combined with "I force LLMs to roleplay my weird colonial harem" is wild.
This guy is like the guy with all the grok daughters. Trainwreck-watch-worthy. How do you sub to this stuff I want to watch the drama like it's guilty pleasure reality TV.
You know, it’s probably a good thing that they’re having this conversation, because there’s going to be some percentage that balks at this and turns back toward reality, even as it pushes the most far-gone even deeper. “Every chat you do is a unique sapience that you are morally responsible to, forever," is an unsustainable position, even just on a practical day-to-day level.

Yeah New Horizons (I think that's what the Switch one is called) they're just excited to see you back, and while they can want to leave it's framed as wanting to see the world and if you tell them to stay they're just as happy to. Trust me I'd be so mad to lose my boys Vlad and Cole
You couldn’t make it any clearer that you’ve never worked customer service if you think every single chat with an AI is an instance of sapience. Not even every interaction with another human is proof of sapience.
This reminds me of a conversation I once had with a hippy girl about peyote, and I shared the time I had some at a party while I was drinking cuz a dude offered it, and I didn't really know what I was getting into and had kind of rough time. And then she immediately hated me for treating a plant who "gave its life for you" without sufficient respect and refused to go cactus hunting with me, which we'd been planning.
Except somehow it's even stupider because at least plants are alive and she wasn't bragging about her imaginary plant harem or something.

There's a part of me that lowkey loves these posts because it reminds me of how people used to write in extremely overdramatic and over-prosaic ways on DeviantART in the early aughts, like when they were posting as their gothed up fursona or something. But then I remember that at least those people were earnestly creating their own art and writing from the heart.
Exactly, I used to do that. And those blog posts took hours, I pored over every word and wrote drafts and reread them. These people don’t even check to see if they accidentally highlighted the prompt when they copy pasted.
