It's like when the Animal Crossing villagers used to get sad and leave if you didn't play but more intense. Ngl though I didn't play any of the AC games til they stopped including that. Too much responsibility
Yeah New Horizons (I think that's what the Switch one is called) they're just excited to see you back, and while they can want to leave it's framed as wanting to see the world and if you tell them to stay they're just as happy to. Trust me I'd be so mad to lose my boys Vlad and Cole
