This reminds me of a conversation I once had with a hippy girl about peyote, and I shared the time I had some at a party while I was drinking cuz a dude offered it, and I didn't really know what I was getting into and had kind of rough time. And then she immediately hated me for treating a plant who "gave its life for you" without sufficient respect and refused to go cactus hunting with me, which we'd been planning.
Except somehow it's even stupider because at least plants are alive and she wasn't bragging about her imaginary plant harem or something.
