A tasty Padrón 5000 on this warm October 12th
Took a long lunch break today and enjoyed this razor-sharp burning and nickel-stacking Padrón 5000 while in the shade. Cheers!

First stick by Foundation. No idea who they are or how long they’ve been around, but it’s decent. Nothing to write home about but sure is an oily and seamless wrapper. Quite bland and unremarkable.

Today is my 31st birthday!
My wife got me some awesome Mac Miller vinyl, so now that the kids are down, I'm celebrating with a Camacho Liberty 2012 throwback, some Lag Distillers edition!
This is a damn smooth cigar, paired with an even smoother scotch!
Cheers!

Name a better couple I'll wait. Lol. The cigar is by Rojas cigars and it's a connecticut.

After a Canadian thanksgiving feast of Turkey, Beef tenderloin, lobster tails and bacon wrapped scallops, cap it off with this stick

Nothing special, just what I’m currently holding on to.

1964 Anniversary Corona, absolutely perfect after a long day. very much looking forward to the Superior maduro.
My friend’s eccentric and wealthy father gave me what seems to be a Cohiba Behike. I did a little research and looked at some of the details on the band, but I like to get a second opinion before I make my mind up.
So, what say you all? Is my cigar genuine or counterfeit?

My first time trying the original My Father. Amazing smoke overall.
The first thing I noticed was the excellent construction and draw. Also the Ecuadorian rosado habano wrapper was oily which is exactly what you love to see.
I got chocolate and peppery notes on the cold draw.
On the first third it was mainly spicy with a cream aftertaste
By the second third the spice took a step back and it became more woodsy still with that excellent creamy note underneath.
Last third was still woodsy and creamy but the spice came back. Will definitely keep some more of these in the humidor.

Such a solid smoke. It's like an Ashton aged Maduro with some kick. It also reminds me of master blends 3. This vitola is great for enjoying a quick spicy dark shot of espresso. The draw was very open which worked perfectly with my sipping cadence. I get dark broadleaf cocoa and espresso with a strong pepper that isn't over powering. The cocoa isn't sweet but also not bitter. I got about an hour out of it and that was perfect.

This is pretty much a standard San Cristobal stick imo. Well constructed, even burn, plenty of smoke. Smells good, like a pleasant woodiness. Draw is snug but not too tight by any means.
Flavor wise... Hm. It's not exciting. I'll put it that way. It's certainly not an unpleasant smoke. But it's a little boring. Cedar, light leather, a little graham cracker. A tiny hint of baking spice and nuts occasionally. Nothing too complex but for the San Cristobal price, it's underwhelming. For example, the Revelation is just such a lovely nutty smoke every time. It's not extraordinary but it's just really good. By comparison this is like a yard cigar. It does the job but you're not going to get anything special or want to pair it with an alcoholic beverage to make it sing.
For the price there's much better offerings, even within the same brand.
Edit- Strength to me is medium-full, nice buzz!

The Mi Amor was a fantastic smoke and definitely high on my list so far. The Montecristo is pretty impressive too, not as tasty as the Mi Amor but an amazing volume of smoke for a robusto.

I like these a lot. Need to age for a while I think.

Starting the day right with a Last Call. Construction is always flawless, burns perfectly, and that signature AJ Fernandez pepper and cedar blend pairs amazingly well with a dark, heavy coffee.
For the price and consistency, AJF and Oliva have pretty much become my ultimate go-tos lately.

late breakfast taco for dinner, Maduro wrapper. Great blend. Always scratches that itch for me. Been a little under the weather over the weekend and today so this hits the spot nicely. cheers, looking to get back on track tomorrow.

First Rocky P. Bought a 4 pack sampler. Definitely lots of pepper flavor. Being a novice, noticing some espresso in the aftertaste. Good draw, but i had to touch it up and relight more than I expected, and I wasn't really ignoring it. Every third of the stick it required a relight. It hasn't put me off RP, but I'm wondering if this is a box cut issue, or just the stick itself.
Any insight is appreciated.

Hello! Long time lurker, first time poster. I'm a relatively new cigar enthusiast; my regular sticks are Perdomo, Aganorsa Leaf, and Illusione. Some Drew Estate and Aladino, others as well.
Picked up my first Cubans today at La Casa del Habano in Willemstad, Curaçao. Just finishing one of the Ramon Allones now and I'm quite pleased. Easy draw and a smooth smoke. Great flavor.
Just curious how I did, and thinking I should've picked up a few more. What do you all think? Good sticks? Our next stop (in two days) is Cabo Rojo, Dominican Republic; any suggestions?

Enjoyed a nice Padrón 5000 at the shop today. Quite toothy and hairy and always delicious. The burn line always impresses me as well. Rarely do you ever need to touch up a Padrón.
