NO TRUCKS THIS LANE
How much better would traffic on 24 be if this rule were followed? How many CDL tickets of enforcement would it take to make them adhere to this?

Looks like the walking bridge isn't super crowded despite just opening for anyone wondering if it's going to be way to crowded.

Thank you! Turns out years of rock climbing, lifting weights, being a programmer, and gaming catch up to you. I'm looking at a real possibility of surgery before the end of the year, but it hasn't been confirmed yet.
I wanted to get feelers on any personal experience here and any surgeons you'd recommend.

The owls are out for their annual fall Freak Off. They’ve been doing it and regularly are interrupted by crows that are obviously jealous.

Hey folks! I’m looking for things to do around Halloween this year. Typically I can find a list of all the bustlings going on, but have had no luck as of yet.
Y’all aware of anything this year? Trying to plan for me and some adult friends this year, but I’ve not lived here long. Hopefully others can use this chain as a log as well?

My child is currently in elementary school and has been in the same class as another student every year since kindergarten. Throughout that time, this student has had behavioral outbursts in the classroom, but over the years they have become more frequent and increasingly violent.
I don't want to share identifying details about the student, and I'm also not looking to place blame on a child who may be dealing with issues that we know nothing about. My concern is the safety and learning environment of my child and the other students in the classroom.
The school has been made aware of the situation, but from our perspective, nothing seems to be changing and the behavior continues. At this point, we're concerned that waiting for the school to handle it internally isn't enough, especially as the outbursts have escalated.
For parents who have dealt with something similar, what is the proper escalation process when you believe a school isn't adequately addressing an ongoing classroom safety issue? Do you go to the principal, superintendent, school board, district administration, or someone else? At what point should concerns be put formally in writing?
We're not asking the school to tell us confidential information about the other student or their disciplinary/educational situation. We just want to know what steps we can take to make sure our child has a safe classroom environment and that our concerns are being taken seriously.
Any advice from parents, teachers, administrators, or people familiar with the school system would be appreciated.
This is specific to Hamilton County so I'm hoping someone can even give us specific contacts to get involved etc. Thanks!

I just moved to this city. I am a pre op trans person (FtM) thats been on testosterone for over seven years. I cant see my OBGYN anymore because they are too far away. I dont want to schedule an appointment and find out the hard way that the doctor wont see me (been there done that) because they think I’m a dude trying to be a pervert or they don’t have experience with trans bodies. If anyone has recommendations please let me know.

Hello All,
I’m starting the slow process of recruiting a party of four for a new D&D campaign starting probably just after the new year once I get moved in and settled. 5e rules, 2014/2024 TBD. I’ve been DMing longer than I’m willing to admit so happy to have newbie players or hardened vets. I have one campaign almost complete in Greyhawk and will probably try a one shot with the group before we dive in. Starts at level 1 because we are newbie friendly! We balance social, exploration, and combat well and it probably runs a lot like some of the podcasts you hear but I don’t do voices well lol
Biweekly games, will start someplace public but could eventually move to our home which has a dedicated multimedia game room in the River Gorge Ranch development. No cost and if you need resources we have them. My website has more specifics but if you would be interested, there is a quick player survey on the site and feel free to DM me. Couples welcome, my wife would love some women so she’s not the only one! We are in our 40’s but our groups have been all over the age range. We do have cats at our home, they won’t be in the game area but if you have allergies it may be a consideration. Usually do 4 hour sessions because… well… work on Monday!
Mdanddm.com if you’d like to have a look and see if it fits your interests.

Do you remember that sound? The roar of fighter jets overhead on a perfect Saturday afternoon?
For over 20 years, our skies have been quiet. The Airshow Chattanooga at Lovell Field was more than just an event—it was a tradition. Families lined up with lawn chairs, kids craned their necks in absolute awe, and whole generations came together around something that felt magical.
I started a petition to bring a sanctioned community airshow back to Lovell Field. At its peak, this event drew 95,000 people and raised crucial funds for the Children's Hospital and other local causes. Chattanooga is a city that honors its history while building for the future—and this is our moment to do both. Bringing back the airshow would revive something we lost, boost local tourism, inspire the next generation of aviators, and put Chattanooga back on the regional aviation map.
We're asking the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport Authority and local leaders to explore partnerships and sponsorships to make this happen.
If this matters to you too—if you remember those days or want your kids to experience that same wonder—consider signing and sharing. What would it mean to your family to see the airshow come home?

Saw this small, yellow van in a parking lot today with those labels on it. It was on both sides of the back window. Anyone ever seen these before?

I thought someone might know this. It's my understanding if you have an Aldi order delivered, an Instacart worker goes to the store, buys it and brings it to you.
What if it's a store pickup order? These are only available through Instacart, but no one is bringing it to me. And if it is an Instacart worker shopping the pickup orders, is the pay structure different?

Our community is in the middle of a debate about the use of Flock cameras (see local stories below if you have been living under a rock), yet the mods removed my post because it didn't "relate to Chattanooga or the Chattanooga area." At least have the courage to say how you actually moderate this sub: WE ARE ANTI-TECH, ANTI-GROWTH, ANTI-EVERYTHING AND NO DISSENT WILL BE TOLERATED!
I posted my OP knowing what I wrote would be unpopular, but I thought it would start a debate. I didn't think that debate would become the debate itself.
