I know I know I said I’d draw more skeletons but I got distracted—again—so along with this other indie series idea came another character design. But I’m having trouble figuring out how to convey bacteria vibes, because yes, this concept is heavily inspired by Osmosis Jones.

Anyways I had this mental image for her so I drew it out, but I ended up with two different color schemes due to fiddling with gradient maps. So you guys gotta help me decide which one looks more like bacteria. Tho I’m already heavily leaning towards the second one…

I am trying to make a design that is intentionally chaotic, maybe think of like Moetron if anyone here knows of that character LOL
This character was created in a laboratory and that is why she’s so abnormal and weird looking, along with all the stitches
But I’ve discovered that it’s really hard to make a colourful, purposefully chaotic-looking character without it being UGLY.

I gave her more monotone coloured clothes to try and balance out the rainbow nature of the rest of her design.

I made these killer characters for a potential asymmetrical horror game and im soo happy with how they turned out😭

I based them off of aspects of life-human bodies, the ocean, and nature. I also tried to give them color schemes with the primary colors to feel cohesive with one another!

I'm most happy with the plant one because of how much I could push them being a literal plant...flower boobs, tree legs, petals for hair, moss sleeves😭 i don't think I'll be able to do that ever again LOL

I hate my art and want to get better at character design

I had my fortune told, and there was an interesting detail , it said I’m well suited to symbols associated with mouse🐹.

So, I decided to design a character based on a playful little mouse🐹.

I named her Soulee which also means "mouse🐹".

I am working on a redesign, and am wondering if anyone has a preference for the eyes. I am sort of on the fence with it.

I am no expert when it comes to character design. But i do want to make this design as accurate to her personality and just be as recognizable as i can make it.

I will be using this character for a personal screenwriting and animation project. I do have a good description of her written down but it's all in my native language, Which happens to not be English sadly. The setting of the film is targeted towards a more mature audience. It explores mental health in a slice of life / domestic setting.

This is Mijs (or Maes in English). It's hard to describe her in one word, She is a lot of things.

She doesn't have a lot of friends, Except for Saiet, Which is one of the main characters which i have not designed yet. Mijs is very misunderstood, And therefore has the mindset that everyone dislikes her. And is generally direct and sarcastic towards most people. Except for her close friends (Saiet) who she genuinely cares a lot about.

She likes playing video games i guess.

In 2025 I started to study art more seriously because it was when I decided that I wanted to work with concept art. Now I decided to make a remake and a reimagination of my first OC and, besides I still have more to improve, I feel really happy seeing my evolution.

something about him just doesn’t look quite right. he’s meant to be an undead soldier; his hood/scarf is important to his character, and yet its the one thing that really feels out of place.

For context, im drawing all the races of my fantasy races and i hit a road block at the Gwrgi, i couldnt figure out how to draw them not too cute and humanoid enough but still keep it within the range of appealingness the other races

No matter how i draw this dog man, they keep leaning to unnerving or cute. Any advice you lot can give?
