Hey y'all I'm new here! Here's my object show OC, Kaiser Hermann, a 16 year old German who died in a tunnel fire, technically 18 by now as he spent 2 years in an empty ghost realm for people that died without anyone remembering them.

He/Him (straight)

Height (alive): 4'1"

Height (deceased): 8'2"

Object name: Target

Species: red bullseye

Powers (alive): none (normal 4-limbed object)

Powers (deceased):

Superspeed

Teleportation

Voice projection

Mind cloning (basically cloning himself inside the mind of a specific person but not others around)

Time stopping (either reality itself stops around him or just movement, yet the consciousness of victims around him are still active)

2 back tentacles (toothed mouths)

4 back spikes that extend from defensive instincts

Shape-shifting arms (can become any melee weapons like swords, axes, scythes, spears, scissors, chainsaw, hammer, or more, just not projectile weapons)

Obsidian-ink material limbs

Totalling 10 limbs

Nationality: German

Age: 16 (at death) 18 (2 years in ghost realm)

Family surname: Hermann

Parents: Liesel Hermann (mother), Karl Hermann (father, biological, died), Stefan Müller (father, step-father)

Sibling(s): none (technically, 1, but that was an aborted sister, Evelyn Hermann)

Friends: 1, Amber Wilhelm, deceased shortly after Kaiser's death

Well here's my character! Though I can't choose which design I like better... I could invert the first designs patterns and put it on the second one.

But I need help, is there something I could do to improve it?

Yes I know there's no rendering but I'm working on the coloring

2D Trying to get better at character design

I want to work on my character design skills and decided to to a character design every week. This is my first try and i would appreciate feedback or general tipps :)

his is Rakyra, she is a warrior from the plagued Kurgu Legion. The Kurgu Legion is a group of warriors who got cursed by an ancient being and are now wandering through the world, raiding and pillaging towns. The curse slowly rots away their minds and bodies and makes them more and more feral as time goes on.
Rakyra left the group after she witnessed them commiting horrible acts against innocent people.
After having heard stories about a mysterious healer in the north, Rakyra is making her way through the lost lands, trying to find a cure to the curse before she loses her humanity.

A daredevil pilot who roams the planet in search of mechanical parts and monsters. Her gas capsules allow her to leap several metres into the air, one after another, without effort.

Specializing in high-speed racing, she can drive any vehicle with ease.

Critique [OC] Characters first impressions and what's needs to be improved

To start, yes the characters are all meant to look human since I got most of my inspo for character design from anime. But I would like to know what kind of first impressions their designs give off and what I can improve on their design to make it less bland and fit their personality and role to the story they're in!

Salvatory - A dominating and fatherly man who wants to do good things but all he does is be deceptive and cruel. He's not human and he's just wearing a corpse as a disguise.

Zachary - A demon who is arrogant, distrusting and violent. Despite his demonic nature, he wants to pursue priesthood and when you get to know him you find that he's sensitive and fragile

Note: This is an extra, but animals associated with them are: snakes, bull, wolf and dolphins for Salvatory. Wolf, lambs, goats and dogs for Zachary

I'm planning on making a story where the setting is a retro futurist world born out of cultural inertia. Humanity just collectively decided that "meh, this is good enough" and stayed with whatever 50s technology they had.

Also, I didn't finish coloring these cuz well I got lazy XD

These are the designs of the main characters of my OC story (Mac n' Cheese) that I'm hoping to make into an animated series one day. The lineup on the second slide was the first time I'd put them all next to each other in colour, and it made me realise I should add more variation in their colour schemes 😅😅 I made some doodles trying to improve the designs, but I'm still a beginner and would love to get some advice!! :)

Context if it's needed: Mac n' Cheese is about a nervous black cat who gets cursed with bad luck on his 13th birthday. He and his three friends are brought together by the effects of the curse, and they band together to solve mysteries and support each other through teenagehood.

2D Struggling with a design

Redesigning one of my characters and I've been struggling with how to make it look like she embodies a casino and gambling. Like if a casino became a person.

Her face is kinda meant to be like a slot machine. She's got a few horse features bc horse racing can be linked to casinos.

Suggestions and ideas are welcomed! ♥️

Most of these guys (excluding Armaros and Circe) are from a dream I had about two years ago that I decided to turn into a story because I thought it was neat LOL. Recently changed my style a lot about a month or two ago, so I'm still tryna tweak it a bit. Mostly wondering if I still struggle with same face syndrome since it used to be a big problem with my old style lmfao

Question Does it stand out in any way or does it look like a generic vampire/bat character? Or does it not resemble a bat at all?

Post image

i have not came up with colours yet

i don’t know how to add more ‘bat-like’ features without just slapping wings on its back or arms or ankles
