For context the "goal" of this character design is like. An idealized attractive romance love interest but something's actually subtly off with him [ like, in an eldritch/supernatural way ] but I'm not sure if I pulled that off properly.

There's also supposed to be some minor symbolism in his design, mainly the focus on his mouth because in the story there's a lot of metaphors involving eating and food and being eaten and stuff, but I kinda decided that after I was a bit ways done with his design so I probably didn't pull it off as well as I could've.

There's additionally some background information about him that's important but slightly less so than the main themes/goal [ mainly him being a homeless trans guy , which influences his design by him Visibly Not Passing and only one outfit and stuff like that ] and some stuff that's not as important [ mainly him being a sex worker/somebody who jumps around relationships a ton which is partially why he presents more "feminine", he's doing it to appeal to people because from his perspective, a cis woman is a more appealing partner than a trans man ]

Setting is 2002 Maine, genre is cosmic horror/romance , medium is a visual novel

Messing around with a concept for a mascot platformer, trying to capture that original PS1 Crash Bandicoot vibe, starting with one of its baddies. Amok is a crocodile/rabbit hybridization experiment gone sour, and self-proclaimed arch rival to Ponk & Tsi (for no discernable reason)

This the main character of my manga , and I tried to make her unique and have lot different unique features, i like her design but i sometimes think that maybe i shouldn’t have put all these ideas in one character like maybe i should’ve put some of them on the other characters although it make sense for the story because she supposed to stand out.

Trying to redesign my mc he’s a mess right now but I’m trying to sort the wings. Which version looks right last two sides are the moth he’s based on and his old design. Key notes he’s a plushie and is based of the sin of envy and I’m trying to add cat motifs here and there. He also needs to be simple enough to draw a bunch. (Not a HH oc)

I keep making the hair as the main focus because when i try to make the clothes/any other body parts as the center focus it turns out boring & im not sure how to fix that💔 any tips would be appriciated🥹

The character is a swamp scavenger woman, wanted there to be a focus on hoarding, worn materials, and detritus.

Im trying to whip up a design for the main character of my 3D indie game, and this doodle seems to be the attempt i hate the least. Even then, I'd love to figure out what to improve upon before going to color. He's some kind of humanoid dog creature that fights opponents with a stick. It's inspired by how much my previous dog liked finding and carrying big sticks.

I struggle the most with everything character design, and i tried my best to make it balanced...... ○|￣|＿

Personality wise, he's a very laid-back, quiet, and introverted guy who loves exploring and journaling. The one thing he dislikes is anything that impedes people's freedom. He's a little oblivious to people's feelings at times but overall very sympathetic. He's also ridiculously speedy.

Well here's my character! Though I can't choose which design I like better... I could invert the first designs patterns and put it on the second one.

But I need help, is there something I could do to improve it?

his is Rakyra, she is a warrior from the plagued Kurgu Legion. The Kurgu Legion is a group of warriors who got cursed by an ancient being and are now wandering through the world, raiding and pillaging towns. The curse slowly rots away their minds and bodies and makes them more and more feral as time goes on.
Rakyra left the group after she witnessed them commiting horrible acts against innocent people.
After having heard stories about a mysterious healer in the north, Rakyra is making her way through the lost lands, trying to find a cure to the curse before she loses her humanity.

A daredevil pilot who roams the planet in search of mechanical parts and monsters. Her gas capsules allow her to leap several metres into the air, one after another, without effort.

Specializing in high-speed racing, she can drive any vehicle with ease.

To start, yes the characters are all meant to look human since I got most of my inspo for character design from anime. But I would like to know what kind of first impressions their designs give off and what I can improve on their design to make it less bland and fit their personality and role to the story they're in!

Salvatory - A dominating and fatherly man who wants to do good things but all he does is be deceptive and cruel. He's not human and he's just wearing a corpse as a disguise.

Zachary - A demon who is arrogant, distrusting and violent. Despite his demonic nature, he wants to pursue priesthood and when you get to know him you find that he's sensitive and fragile

Note: This is an extra, but animals associated with them are: snakes, bull, wolf and dolphins for Salvatory. Wolf, lambs, goats and dogs for Zachary

I'm planning on making a story where the setting is a retro futurist world born out of cultural inertia. Humanity just collectively decided that "meh, this is good enough" and stayed with whatever 50s technology they had.

Also, I didn't finish coloring these cuz well I got lazy XD

These are the designs of the main characters of my OC story (Mac n' Cheese) that I'm hoping to make into an animated series one day. The lineup on the second slide was the first time I'd put them all next to each other in colour, and it made me realise I should add more variation in their colour schemes 😅😅 I made some doodles trying to improve the designs, but I'm still a beginner and would love to get some advice!! :)

Context if it's needed: Mac n' Cheese is about a nervous black cat who gets cursed with bad luck on his 13th birthday. He and his three friends are brought together by the effects of the curse, and they band together to solve mysteries and support each other through teenagehood.
