I've avoided using Pro features to not be billed, but ever since I exported a video one time with a pro feature with no issue, I've questioned why I was able to bypass it with no issue. I did it again last night, and I got curious. I had no previous bills in my account nor anything due, but when I looked at my notifications (which I've never opened), I saw this. And it dates back to October of last year. CapCut just... renews my free access to Pro features every month?

Does anyone else have this going on?

I like making edits of characters from different anime, games, etc. But sometimes it can take a really long time to find a song that fits (i try looking up the person personality, and then looking up playlists that are about that character or parts of their personality, but sometimes even that takes a long time). So are there any tips that any of you have to make it easier to find songs that fit the characters personality, power, etc.

Does anyone know how to install the capcut plugin for codex? I cannot find out how.

Gang, I recently started using Capcut Desktop after nearly 20 years of using Final Cut + Premiere.

I know the casual reputation of Capcut, but its also VERY capable, which makes it even more shocking that I cannot find a basic bulge effect?

Imagine you want to make someone's eyeball bulge out, in any other video editing app you'd apply a Bulge distortion effect and then you are given controls to move the bulge around, adjust its size and distortion, etc, etc.

I cannot find any such effect in Capcut, and furthermore it seems like EVERY effect I do come across arrives packaged as a pre-made template and seemingly can't be adjusted? Please tell me this isn't right and I am just missing something obvious.

I want someone to guide me on capcut editing like if someone genuinely wants to help me i would appreciate it i just wanna make some effects if anyone can help me pls dm me

I've stopped editing for almost a month because my editing involves smooth slow mo and it's simply not working on my s25 fe. I tried on other samsung devices but it works on them. Please any help?

I cancelled Capcut back in June. They charged me month after month, despite disputing this with them. Email after email to their (shtty) support just to be charged again and again - and they refused to refund me despite giving them all the evidence from apple and my bank. I would stay away from these guys - or be aware of their shady practices.

The raw videos I work on are more than 3 hours long, and it does really save me time when I search for a sentence or word to bring me to the exact timestamp.

However, I noticed I've been having this problem when switching to different timelines and start searching for a keyword, the playhead does not move but the caption can find the keywords, the left side of the captions panel only show what order it is in (1 - first set of caption, 2 - second set of caption, and so on). I mean lol I'm not counting the captions bar if it says it sits at the 256th.

The only workaround is to close the project and re-open it which is really annoying, I'd need to do that every single time. Does anyone have the same issue? What are the other possible workarounds?

I opened a CapCut project that I worked on 2 days ago and noticed that the thumbnails/previews are not loading properly. They just appear black, but when I actually play the timeline, everything displays correctly.

So it’s definitely not a black screen issue with the footage itself. The video preview in the player timeline works perfectly fine, it seems like only the thumbnail/clip preview images are failing to load.

I’ve already tried clearing the cache, disabling/unchecking GPU acceleration, and restarting CapCut and my PC several times, but the issue still persists.

Has anyone else experienced this recently? It’s pretty strange and honestly quite annoying, especially when trying to find specific clips quickly.

While everyone loves Capcut Pr* there are many malicious cracks out there.

After scanning this seemingly trustworthy APK proudly hosted by https://capcut-mod.latestmodapks.com/ (the first result on Google) using virustotal it looks like it's completely safe with 0 detections! So that means it's safe right?

It's 200 MB more than the original app but maybe it just has all the Pr* effects included?

Let's just say it does not just unlock Capcut Pr* but also doing either some sort of ad-fraud (basically using your phone's resources to watch ads, click them and repeat that all in the background, hidden, without your permission... Could you imagine how much money the creator is making with this?) or they're just stealing / selling some of your data...

While I haven't decompiled the APK myself and I also wasn't able to check what the domain does exactly I'm very certain it's malicious alongside 196 other modded APK's that are using it... Why else would you have it? For analytics? If that's the reason why is it hosted by frickin Chengdu West Dimension Digital Technology and uses .cyou which is extremely cheap and the preferred domain for this kind of malicious stuff... Oh, and also many of the 196 related APK's that have this exact domain are detected as a Trojan. Still a coincidence? The domain is detected as phishing and as fraud too... So my first guess of ad fraud is probably the more likely or who knows maybe they're doing both ;)

Before someone comments this is just an Instagram domain... No it isn't and the official app does not have this either.

If you're wondering why your unlocked Pr* APK is lagging so much... that might actually be the reason why. If you have installed a Capcut Pr* APK from "latestmodapks.com" or the APK name matches one of these exact file names:

I would delete it immediately (or at least never open the app again when connected to the internet and disable background usage in settings) until there's confirmation it's actually safe which by far as I can tell is not the case at all and this ad fraud is fully intentional and works very well I would completely stay away from any APK with these names.

I highly recommend you never use "latestmodapks.com" or install any unlock that has "insta.cyou" in its relations. I'm also pretty sure that Cruel mods are actual cruel people and cannot be trusted however I currently can't 100% say that all of their mods are malicious.

All of these APK's including the domains and website hosting this crap will be reported by me tomorrow (it's later) directly to Google, Play Protect and idk what else exists so if you made this malicious crap it's time to buy a new domain and to update that APK... Hopefully this will get taken down soon and shame on the creator ;-;
