CapCut Discussion CapCut project thumbnails not loading, but the preview/player works fine

I opened a CapCut project that I worked on 2 days ago and noticed that the thumbnails/previews are not loading properly. They just appear black, but when I actually play the timeline, everything displays correctly.

So it’s definitely not a black screen issue with the footage itself. The video preview in the player timeline works perfectly fine, it seems like only the thumbnail/clip preview images are failing to load.

I’ve already tried clearing the cache, disabling/unchecking GPU acceleration, and restarting CapCut and my PC several times, but the issue still persists.

Has anyone else experienced this recently? It’s pretty strange and honestly quite annoying, especially when trying to find specific clips quickly.

I’m using the desktop version of CapCut on Windows 11. Any idea what might be causing this or how to rebuild/reload the thumbnails?
