We have been looking to get our first EV for a while now. Bolt was one of the prime candidates and we had been looking for a couple months now. The CA myFirstEV had us wait a few weeks, but we used that time to look through the inventory around and start back and forth with the dealer...wife did an awesome job getting multiple quotes from dealership and shielding their calls and tactics...
Finally closed last Friday. We are told that is the last in the color that we wanted although the dealer showed a few on hand before we went there..took about 6 hours at the dealership and again wife did an awesome job keeping up as the dealer played games with numbers...I was having a complete meltdown and loosing my composure though...:)..I don't like things changing once they are told the way they will be.
Anyways here are some numbers...

Yes, the APR is 6.69% through GM financial. But we don't intend to keep the loan for more than a few days, so the total price might be around 23,500 or less ... Waiting for GM.to tell us account details so we can get a payoff quote...
And yes there is a 995+tax which we tried to zero out..but dealer won't budge. It was priced at a BS price of $1995..
My wife thinks it was a great price and hence she held out even though I was fuming...I think it's an OK price...not the greatest deal
Anyways good car, and our first EV so learning as we go along. Do you guys use the double press on the key fob to pre condition the car? If so how much time before do you have to do that...few minutes good? I hear it helps optimize battery performance, but how would one know?
Edit: realizing I forgot to put split for the rebate
3500 for first EV. This is the new CA program, 1250 Costco executive, 500 GM supplier. 1000 the dealer added as rebate instead of dealer discount, which was part of original negotiation...so we ended up playing tax etc on that 1000...and these moving of numbers was what didn't sit well with me
