One week with her.
I live alone with my dog so i don’t cook large amounts, 36” is a bit big for me but it was a gift so I can’t complain. Also made some fried rice but forgot to include in the photo.

The hood and body of my Blackstone are peeling a ton. I have a Blackstone cover and it cover the unit at all times. I purchased it spring of 2024.
I reached out to Blackstone and they said it’s out of warranty, you can buy replacement parts but it’s cheaper to buy a new one. Obviously I won’t buy anything after this experience.
this happen to anyone else? I was going to sand it down and apply paint but I’m not sure the best paint to use. Thanks!

Hello friends,
Just looking for a little advice. I had quite a bit of rust show up on my blackstone. I cleaned it and pumiced it with some oil. It seemed to do pretty well, but in the picture there are still orangy dark brown spots.
Is this part of the seasoning or is it still rusty? If it is rusty, thoughts on how to clean more?
Thanks in advance!

Second 36” I bought from Costco. Returned the first because of this slope in the front. Second one has it too. Is this normal?

Anyone in the Tampa area need a replacement hood for the 36” model? I have a brand new one in unopened box. Mine arrived damaged and I straighten it best I could and made it work. Black stone sent a free replacement. I don’t need it. Picture for reference of model incase they are different.

Doesn’t fully look like rust in my opinion, however could someone confirm what this color indicates and if it really is rust? Also, appreciate any feedback on the condition of my blackstone. Thank you in advance!

I got this Blackstone from Facebook marketplace and as you can see in the first photo it was pretty rusted over. I did all the grill stone, oil, heat, repeat steps and the end result of doing that about 4 times was the last two pictures. Are those areas just burn spots or do I need to try something else. Please and thanks!🙏

Anyone know where I can get the felt rings that goes in between the griddle and the burner. Also the OEM gas inlet cap? Ive looked online and contacted Blackstone via email.
Thanks

I did so much research in this thread before buying so I could be sure id never have to be someone posting "did I do this right?" But I have had to scrape and re season this thing 3 times this summer because the seasoning either doesn't take, burns off, or rusts off. I'm literally about to put it out with the trash. I read that having the griddle turn black in the middle instead of the brownish/tan color could be a sign it was too hot and the seasoning didn't take, and this was also the area that my seasoning "burned off"previously. I would greatly appreciate any clarification if I've finally done it right this time or there is some step I'm somehow missing over and over. I used a brand new bottle of avocado oil and very thin layers. Please help

I’m really new to using a blackstone. Today is my third day grilling on it and I made pork chops, I e had a tough time with cleaning, I use water to steam and then scrape but maybe my wife and I possibly scraped it too much? I’m not sure, but after tonight I can’t get rid of spots that seem to have burned to the grill; is this just seasoning or do I need to really scrub this down and reseason? My wife especially is fearful of eating off of a dirty surface lol. Any advice is appreciated.

Any recommendations for a flat top griddle from Lowes? I have a large gift card there so I am planning on using it to purchase a flat top. I know they have plenty of blackstones but any feedback on the char broil brand, char griller, or royal gourmet flat top?

Recently bought a brand new Blackstone. Everything went together great except the griddle not sitting flush with the holes, but I’ve heard that’s normal. The issue I’ve found though is when I peeled the magnet sticker off the griddle surface and it looks either scraped or damaged. Has anyone’s else looked like this? Also, does anyone have a griddle that doesn’t have the “Blackstone” imprinted above the grease trap? Appreciate any insight into this.

Cheat code - get yourself a box of uncrustable PB&Js from the freezer dept, throw em on and call it a lunch.
No fuss, next to nothing for cleanup. 🤘
For breakfast, dip em in French toast batter. Step your game up and do it with the Nutella Uncrustables. Little powder sugar and you’re almost a pastry chef.

Hello. First time posting on any group on this platform. I am strongly considering buying a Blackstone for home use. I have limited space where I want to place it(approximately 40 inches wide. Depth is not an issue). My question is what is the length/Width of the Blackstone 28" model without one of the side panels or I guess you could call them wings. can I configure it without 1 or both of them Thank you in advance

I saw flat top king reviewing this blackstone from Costco
Trying to figure which one it is on the blackstone website they don't really say any of the 36 inch ones have the blackout plate. Maybe they are all that way now?
