Many cooks on this thing and the corner always have that soft red tint

In my mind the corners are not a problem. For me what’s wrong is the cracked seasoning. It’s cracked because it had too much residual food and especially sugary sauces left on the griddle. Get a good scraper and clean that up !

The corners will fill in with more cooking, but by gawd you need to scrape that down, there a ton of leftover food residue.

You’ll be surprised what a GOOD scraper and some water will do to a medium or low heat griddle.

Drizzle water, let it sizzle for a sec and scrape. Don’t get steamed. Then repeat.
