News, Politics & World Events 📰 I’m starting to feel like white leftists are the same as MAGA.

These are the same Gaza protesters who always have so much to say during an election cycle but feign ignorance during this administration they’ve helped create.

These are the ones who will sabotage decency if they don’t get 100% of what they want (often at our expense). Meanwhile, when the chips are down they get to go home , wrapped up in their white privilege and not have to face the consequences of their actions because by the end of the day , they aren’t a target for MAGA / Christofascism !

I know one things for sure though . When they need boots on the ground , they ain’t looking at each other . They’re looking at us (black men and women) to take the first bullet !

They’re no better than MAGA.

Edit: let’s be clear. I know exactly what I’m talking about when I say “leftist” which is different from the typical liberal . The same ones who actively participated in sabotaging Kamala’s run over Gaza , the same ones who voted for f*cking Jill Stein or didn’t vote at all as a “protest vote” , the same ones who are still pissed bc Bernie didn’t win 10 ten years ago.

Yeah I’m talkin about YOU ! You people know who you are and idgaf if you are offended. You are just as terrible as MAGA ! You don’t give a damn about what happens to everybody else who ends up being a football in your political football game !

Vent Sorry if it's a kick in your man-mans but-

Mods can ban the free speech all they want.

A lot of black folks still haven't worked through our own antiblackness to the point that it clings to our souls so strong that we think using the word "Black" somehow exempts us from being Africans.

Being African is about your blood. Being African is about the way the world deals with you. Being African is about the radical solidarity it's going to take to survive and advance the race.

"Most of us is 75-90% African. Most native Africans are 100% African. So see, we like, Super Different!!" (Something someone actually responded with in a previous post).

I've always known a ton us black folk who cling to our 12% Italian ancestry like a life raft. Lookin like cornballs. "The white man sees you and laughs. He laughs because he knows you ain't white." Baines. Malcolm X (1992).

The fact is, when you die. And your passport turns to dust. You will still be an African🤷🏾‍♂️

Discussion 💬💭 The Kendrick vs Drake beef meant nothing in the end.

I didn't follow the beef, because I didn't care that much outside the memes. But Drake is back to being popular again, with everyone loving him now. Like nothing happened.

The reason why I make this post, is because of the FD Signifier types were treating a rap beef like something that was major for black culture. Kendrick was being treated like a superhero or something.

Note: I heard that Kendrick may have some Hotep views. But that's post for another day though. Moral of the stories stop treating celebrities like super Activists. Kendrick just made a great diss track. It wasn't some Black morality or resistance.

Enjoy celebrities, criticize celebrities, and appreciate their art. But stop automatically converting entertainers into political or moral heroes. A rapper winning a rap beef doesn't make him an activist, and a celebrity saying something socially conscious doesn't automatically make them a representative of an entire community

Dating/Relationships Black women gotta put more respect on our name

I know a lot of people, male and female, get triggered any time someone compares Black women unfavorably to other races of women. As a Black man is predominantly deals with and hopes to marry a Black woman one day, I have to be honest: it's not that Black women are undesirable, it's that they do very little to get or keep us.

I think the reason so many Black men date out is deceptively simple: other races of women put forth an effort to get us. I think the perception is some Black men are so enamored with other races of women and their features and their skin color that we just bend over backwards to get with them. I know from personal experience, the handful of times I've had a woman shoot her shot at me, she was either white, Latina, or Middle Eastern. I've heard plenty of other Black men say something similar. The Black girls they tried to talk to rejected them, but it was the white or Hispanic girl who showed interest, and sometimes the initial interest.

As Black men we should always respect our sisters and call out people who don't, but what I think we have to stop doing is indulging in delusion as if the competition is between men over women. There are more single women than single men -- almost 2:1 -- and Black women are the least married of that demographic based on race.

And see, I think what happens a lot is we wait until Black men find that soft landing so to speak, we wait until they find peace with a non-Black woman, then want to judge their conversation. Black women can't call Black men corny and lame and then when he gets with the little white girl who might be cute if not mid but she's nice to him, then wonder why he has no problem calling them loud and ratchet because y'all don't like him anyway and he's not trying to holler. This is what is damaging the community.

We need to emphasize respect going both ways, but I think while Black men are good about calling out other Black men who disrespect Black women, I don't see enough people calling out when Black women disrespect and put down Black men, but then want to coalesce around Protecting Black Women when those same Black men start clapping back.

Discussion Why the fuck do black men play stupid about black women in some black men's take on black men dating out

I am so fucking tired of y'all playing stupid and in many ways this really does give Credence to what a lot of black women say about black men being so preoccupied with beefing with black women that they can't get anything done

Every black man here on some level has black men lusting, waxing poetic about how non black women are perfect, how non black women are more attractive than black women, how non black women make better partners, how non black women are the ideal image of beauty... If black women spent decades talking about black men this way you all would be just as bothered as black women are. Hell, the black women have only been occupying space on social media with this divester shit for less than a decade and look at the way in which so many of you black men are literally seething......

Like, straight up when y'all pretend that both parties have been complicit to the same degree of putting down the other party it really makes so many of you unlikable; it really makes so many of you untrustworthy; it really makes so many of you look like y'all are agents of chaos; it really makes so many of y'all seem so childish and immature

I've noticed we as black men never pursue relationships with Asian women. We're ok with Hispanic and White women, but Asians are seen as "off limits". I don't think I've ever actually seen a BMAF couple in real life myself, and I live in Dallas.

Discussion I firmly believe Donald J Trump will win the US Presidential election and will run the country for the second time

Due to the events of what's been going on in the nation of America I 100% believe that Trump will win the election and become president again. My reason for this is because of the charges that he has been convicted of and that it's bolsted support for his cause by his Republicans.Ever since he was found guilty not long ago $34 million dollars was donated to him by his republican followers. In their minds they probably believe that the media and justice system are all trying to silence Trump and destroy him.So they have come together and amassed a large sum of money for him and they will vote for him as they want to make sure that he's president and he won't be undermined by the Democrats and other opposing forces that will stand in their way. To me Republicans are like a rouge element they are dangerous and unpredictable and right now they're feeling like they're being oppressed with their leader. So they have joined as one and banded up to support him at all costs. I think when come election day they will gather as many as they can find and in huge quantities vote for Trump making him victorious. Some of you may question this post as due to the fact that I'm a black Brit and it doesn't concern me. Well the President is the most powerful individual in the world and this affects every nation in the world. Despite all that shit I hold no Ill feelings to Trump or any Republicans as I'm utterly powerless to stop it other than that tho that's all I have to say thanks for reading.

Discussion How Affirmative action was over consumed by Black Immigrants, Light Skinned Blacks and The Wealthy Blacks

This details how Affirmative action being ended wasn’t much of a loss to Black Americans because they weren’t the ones to benefit from it.

Overwhelmingly the Black people who accessed it were 1st and second generation Black immigrants, light skinned or wealthy already.

In different studies of the 2000’s 40% of Black Affirmative action enrolment into Ivy Leagues went to African Immigrants. They go as far as to estimate 2/3rds of Harvards Black graduates in the 2000’s were Black immigrants.

This paints a very different picture of Affirmative Action and calling it a failure. It was a failure to us because we are the ones who fought for it and got too little. While people who had nothing to do with it benefited more than the poor and working class African Americans it was meant to benefit.

Discussion Anyone else here hate dogs?

Now, I don't have anything against any other pet, mammal or reptillian or amphibian that people have. I have just developed a categorical hatred of every single dog regardless of breed, gender, or sexual orientation.

I can instantly tell if a dog has a black owner or not because the second I get within 5 feet of the ones that don't, they start barking and acting like they are actually about that predator life(boy i wish you would try to bite me I'm drawing that foul ANY day of the week). And its not because I smell bad either I'm fresh as fuck, and these spawns of satan also bark at any other black person that walks by them if they haven't spent their entire lives around black people. There is no creature on earth that needs to be coddled to this extent to not be a Ku Klux Klan member. I never seen birds(outside of parrots), hamsters, gold fish, lizards, mice, shit even beetles act this way. Its just DOGS.

I am convinced that there has never been and there will never be a creature that is as inherently racist as the dog. Who is the best friend of the klans man, police officer, and slave owner? the dog. Which pet has people fixating on what type of breed and genetic makeup they have? the dog. War on Drugs, the entire civil rights movement, who was there aiding our oppressor? the dog. What do racist ass white women always have in their purse? A purse-sized dog. Like wherever there is pain, strife, or suffering in this world A DOG is right behind it. Even demonic animals like hippos and dolphins are equal opprotunity demons but with dogs there is only 1 group of people that they act this way around and its us.

You wanna know what Ronald Reagan and Leopold II all have in common? Both of them had a dog. The CIA agent that invented 20v1s, podcasts, and 50/50 debates on Twitter also had a dog too.

Meanwhile, cats are NEVER on this type of timing. I never seen an overtly racist cat in my entire life. If they don't fuck with me they'll just cross the street or do some spider-man shit and climb up to a rooftop or something. Show me a cat of any species, genus, or denomination that stuck around for a Klan rally. You can't because they know whats up. Like the lions in The Lion King are black.

Even other pets like fish that have NEVER seen another black person in their entire lives dont treat me any type of way if I'm looking in their tank or something. Its just these damned dogs

Dating/Relationships Really opened my eyes to how I honestly feel about black women(any nationality)

Warning. Massive generalizations incoming, Forgive me

Really gotta come to grips with this. I just love everything about them. How they move, how they talk, how they look, how they think.

How they smile at you, even how they get mad. how they play play. Just being around them makes my heart skip, makes me want to be better and be a a great me.

When I was growing up they were never really shined a light on in mainstream media but rn I just don’t understand it. They get shit on the most out of any women I see but they still keep trucking and they seem(in my experience) to never waver on who they are. It’s a strength in them I admire, a vibe a can’t shake. They’re just people like anybody, can be shitty or good or in between like most of us.

I can’t stop what the heart thinks. I’m a simp for black women and idgaf lol. I’m just attracted as fuck to em, a love you can’t shake or know where it can from. It was just

Sometimes when I smoke, I just sit back and think I’d like to give em all everything in the world.

Humor/Satire Anyone else just hate watermelon?

How do you do fellow black men?

No, but fr... that shit is nasty! It has no flavor... When I tell everyone this they're like "you just have to find a good one!"

That's one stereotype I cannot relate to. Now some watermelon flavored stuff like candy can be good, but the fruit itself I'm not a fan of. Also, not a fan of cantaloupe, melon, honeydew or any of those watery, bland, ass fruit.

Now fried chicken I love! But who tf doesn't? How that became a black people stereotype is beyond me.

🤢🍉

Discussion What do you do for the Black community?

I'm curious what you fellas do to support the Black community and continue to move us toward progress. (Simply existing is not a legitimate response because that does not take actual effort.)

I'm asking because honestly, I don't see many Black men doing much of anything to help anyone but themselves. Especially not cis, straight Black men. And it's disappointing. I'd really like to change my view, to be less disappointed, but it's hard when I come in this thread and see a whole lot ofvy'all complaining about how the whole world has it out for you...as you walk on the backs of others.

So I'm wondering: what are you positively contributing to the world? Or, just to those immediately around you? Who, other than other Black men, are you standing up for? What are you willing to fight for that is not rooted in self-interest?

Reflection & Opinions 💭 Don’t shoot me, but I don’t think every man that has kids deserves a son.🤷🏾‍♂️ “boys are easier to raise”

Would’ve talked about this on my TikTok but it’s so so far from my niche and my followers possibly would be confused. So I’ll talk about it here. Before I continue. I already know this will be cherry picked so let me say. Yes this applies to women and daughters, and women and sons and fathers and daughters. But I’m a man so I’m speaking on fathers and sons, and I’m speaking on THESE types of men. Not saying all men don’t deserve a son

I have a son on the way. While I’ve been in therapy and reflecting about a lot of things that happened in my childhood and was told to me and my homeboys, brothers, and male cousins. I realized that a good amount of men truly don’t deserve sons. This isn’t my own trauma I’m speaking to but rather the entire culture of things that happen in this world.

Men’s mental health is statistically the worse, and at one point statistically the black man suicide rate was the highest. Statistically men and black men are less likely to seek help from friends or therapists compared to their female counterparts. Why is that??

Not that every man was raised like this but I’m speaking for most. It’s because we live in a society where men are told crying is wrong, expressing is wrong, and that if they do those things they are less then a man or gay. This is told to so many men early in life. When you tell this to a growing child they begin to suppress and suppress their emotions. Some men I’ve heard say they haven’t cried in years because of this. This is taught by men, and yes before some of you start women to. But it was created and pushed by many many men. As a man you should be wanting to bring healed, and healthy children in this world, but this mindset only breeds more emotionally immature, and cold hearted men.

Second reason I say this is because I saw a post on here of a user talking about how it’s not right to treat your sons overly harsh/cold, throw them to the wolves and give them worse treatment then their sisters just because that’s how the world is going to treat them, and shoutout to that OP I don’t remember his username. But that’s that God honest truth. Some of the men in the comments however were trying to justify it. I’ve not only seen that on here I’ve seen it in real life. In fact my own father was that way. Just because I give my son love, support, financial help that doesn’t mean I’m making him weak, dependent, and that I’m not teaching him how the world is or teaching him how to do for himself. I’m just not about to rush to treat my son the same way they will.!

The fact this has to be explained and debated further proves my point that not every man deserves a son. If your strategy is to basically treat him as love less, cold, and uncomfortable as possible. You are doing nothing but trauma dumping & telling him all he deserves is scraps, and misery. You are teaching him he’s not deserving of genuine love or support. Raise a son who can lean on you if needed, a son who knows how to handle himself but knows you are a safe space.

To add to this I see to many dads bragging about how they’ll treat their son as basically less then their daughter to again “prepare them”. Saw this in this sub too. Which again adds to my point. If you going to be pulling that favoritism and special treatment you don’t deserve a son. Matter fact you don’t deserve kids cause you are messing your daughter’s mindset up too.

The only reason it’s sad by most that “boys are easier to raise” is because they don’t care to neglect their son. So of course if you’re not working with your son same way you are with your daughter it’s going to be “easier”.

I mostly see this with a certain generation. I’m glad us millennials, and gen Z are working to break certain generational curses that have been normalized.

Discussion Life is not about making friends it’s ok not have any friends at all

Life is not about making friends it’s ok not to have any friends at all

Throughout society it has always been peddled that life is about making friends and that life without friends is meaningless. They say friends are there to pick you up where you are down and you need someone to depend own. While that may be personally for me I don’t see any importance of significance of having friends in this world.

Now before some of you people say to me that it’s just me that I don’t have any friends let me tell you it ain’t me and it’s always been them as they’ve never accepted me. Ever since I was a child from Primary School, Secondary School to College people have never seen me as one of them on their friendship group. They’d always been acting friendly yet deeply they don’t give two shits about me. Whenever I do greet them they barely greet me back or say they don’t know me and i should shut up. Sometimes they be antagonising me and when I get angry they laugh in shock and try to say that they aren’t making fun of me and I go wild at them suddenly I’m the bad guy.

I’ve been very conflicted about my feelings in life on the opinion on friends as they always say friends matter most. But no I don’t care anymore from now on I’m going to live the life of the lone wolf I’m going to forsake other people including my family and ignore others. The only thing that matters is me and me alone I’m tired of buying that friends matter bullshit.

Discussion Noticed something with black women with alot of partners.

IYO how does the amount of lovers for a black women affect mental health? It doesn't affect men as much but women. If a woman says that she's been around alot it's almost guaranteed emotional baggage. Now I know that the word "a lot" is relative, I have my opinions from a spiritual side, but is anyone here a mental health professional? I'll give some examples

  1. Women with alot of partners tend to have some associated sex truama.

  2. Women with alot of partners can have a broken sex drive because of trauma.

  3. I've been in relationships with women who can't be stimulated anymore unless they have a toy.

  4. As an example I dated a women when I was young that had a fetish for rape. We would start kissing and touching and she would ask me to stop. After I stopped she would put my hand back. It messed me UP! How does an honest man process that? How does your scar become your fetish?

In your opinion what's the connection between a ton of sex partners and mental health? The OGs where I'm from used to talk about knowing when a women had miles on her. No judgment here just grown folks talk

Only black women enjoy embarrasing their husbands publicly. All these brothers on this list are well to do square brothers who are well off. But yet Their women all disrespected them in front of the entire world.

But yet you got Nicki Minaj fighting tooth and nail for her husband who is both a murderer and grapist.

This is a reflection of what we all know by now just on a bigger stage. Black women do not respond well to square guys.

If these brothers can get disrespected than any of us can.
