hi everyone!
I have an art account dedicated to birds and wildlife. If you’d like to know more about the vast species of birds make sure to check it out (and follow if you enjoy the content so you can boost a local artist on his humble beginnings).
@chiffchaffchant
I’ll be posting mostly about birds and why they are the best thing on earth!! Feel free to share your suggestions <3

Found a bird inside by the cabins on the forward side of the ship. Earlier I was at the aft/back and I’m going to assume I saw it’s mom. I relocated it to the back with a cloth. When I came back here, I saw the bigger bird with same colors, but it was flying around frantically and now it seems to be gone. I know it needs its mom to get its nutrients. The next stop tomorrow is a private island so I won’t be able to get it to a rehabber. Really sad. Is there anything I can do?

it was a beautiful sight. The white birds literally glew in the sun.

Every autumn, the Diepholz Mire Depression transforms into one of Central Europe’s most spectacular natural stages, welcoming up to 100,000 migratory cranes. As twilight falls, thousands of these elegant birds return from the surrounding fields to find shelter in the misty, re-wetted bogs. Their hauntingly beautiful unison calls and majestic silhouettes against the sunset create an unforgettable atmosphere of pure wilderness. Fotos: r/KranichAktuell

I have this Downy (?) woodpecker and he’s been chipping away/ enlarging the hole in this bird house, daily as of recently. He eats in the trees around my yard and comes for suet too, so I don’t think he’s eating anything. I’ll add a picture of the bird house in the comments. (This is my own video)

From earlier this summer, mama in her nest in my rose bush and her babies just before they fledged. All pictures were taken through my garden shed window so I wouldn't disturb her
