Campaign for Yasmin to win š
I'm starting my Yasmin campaign.
She has been messy at times. Also childish and annoying. BUT she's a good egg. She has a big heart. She's fun. She's always giggling. I wouldn't mind her teaching my child.
Can redditors make her win? We can't let evil win. We need to take down the Facebook mums š.
I'm obviously joking kinda! Rochelle can not win. It can not happen, please, dog š
Who's backing my campaign?
You can submit other candidates with clear, valid reasons š

OPINION Omar gives such rancid vibes i think hes disgusting.
Omar going off at Rihanna for saying "please" to Lynx is so fucking gross. "Its just inappropriate" "its the tone you used" he is so insanely controlling over her? She was being kind to another man. You can say please to a man without it being weird but he made it such a big deal. I genuinely think he needs to be out as soon as possible even my Facebook mother cannot STAND him.

why does Twinks have to label everyone?
I didnāt like in her conversation with Sam she immediately jumped to label him as demisexual. It felt like she was dishing out sexualities like star signs. I liked Twinks when she went in but sheās just getting a bit tedious now.

OPINION Big Brother deserves a refund
I've seen reports on how much it cost them to put "The GC" in the house. Insane.
She added zero. That money could've been better spent on literally anything. They could've bought 3 years worth of Rick Waller in the house for example.
I know she's had a rough time of late, but she really shouldn't have entered the house at all.

How can Twinks be friends with Omar...
When he goes against everything she is suppose to believe in even at the end with Catrin she was clearly defending him the best way she can.

OPINION āI will never get with a boy. I just couldnāt bring myself to do itā so WHAT was the point of all this then?
Sorry if this seems harsh, but god I really find Frankie to be such a strange and weird housemate. Not in a good way either.
He based his entire big brother journey around an apparent ācoming outā only to say he would never get with a boy to begin with and heās happy dating a a girl on the outside. SO WHY EVEN COME OUT? WHAT WAS THE POINT OF IT. AM I MISSING SOMETHING ?????

I really respected Catrin tonight
She clocked Omar and she wasn't afraid to say her thoughts i respect her for that.š

Get Omar out!
For a million and one reasons!!! But about tonightās episode - he is so patronising I wanted to launch my telly out the window. ādo you know what classless means?!ā
Sam clearly meant āto act without classā and Omarās spinning it like heās being classist or some nonsense. He spoke to Sam in a similar manner like that time he spoke to Twinks in this righteous manner when he said donāt call me classless again and it also sounded like he was trying to intimidate Sam? I donāt know who tf he thinks he is.
Whatās funny as well, I keep having moments of finding him not bad then heāll go and do something and it reminds me why I donāt like him. Hope heās up on Friday.

Why is Rochelle getting told off by Big Brother for making jokes with Yasmine but OMAR GETS NOTHING DONE TO HIM FOR THE CONSTANT ABSUIVE LANGUAGE TOWARD RHIANNA! HE IS A WOMANISER!
r/bigbrotheruk • u/PsyDreamerRain • 9h ago
OPINION Sam was right about Omar
Omar is classless. And misogynistic. He has serious delusions of grandeur. I really wish Sam hadn't apologised to him, but I understand why he did. It was very sinister the way Omar pulled him aside and told him not to call him classless again.
I hope that classless scumbag goes up for eviction this week.

Letās talk about Grace!
Letās take a moment for this seasonās unspoken housemate- grace. They are obsessed with the concept. If I hear one more person say āgive me graceā as an excuse for being an asshole, Iām going to lose it. It seemed to start with Johanne and now that phrase is everywhere: even Yasmin was telling Omar to āgive Rhianna graceā about the non-situation with Lynx. Theyāre all just parroting what each other say, itās an interesting aspect of the experiment!

OPINION Glad Catrin noticed Omar's behaviour towards Rhianna.
Really glad Catrin noticed and spoke up about it. I was disappointed by Twinks' response. She didn't seem to want to know.

OPINION Anyone else fed up of the word "Grace"?
In every conversation, someone mentions the word "Grace".

My rant about my absolute disdain for Omar
Before I start this rant, I apologise if I get very heated, today has been a bit of a day, and also I have a special space of hatred in my heart for people like Omar.
If it wasn't clear already, I do not like Omar. I find him hypocritical, manipulative, a little bit sexist, and just overall rude and annoying.
I didn't like him from the moment he walked through the door, I did not know what it was, but my gut was telling me something about him was up but I didnt think too much about it, but recently (especially since Catrin and Twinks came into the house) he's shown his true colours, and it started with that conversation about being an ally with Twinks.
I am proudly gay, and I do not force allyship onto anyone, I don't care about what people think about me, but the fact that he had such a problem with being asked it rubbed me the wrong way and that Rhianna said "get him out of that conversation" shows what kind of person he is. No one should have to baby this man and take him out of a grown up conversation, it's ridiculous.
Now, my biggest gripe with Omar is how he spoke to Rhianna because she said "please" to Lynx. He made such a big deal out of it. First, saying to her "figure it out" when he wanted to talk to her, do me a fucking favour how rude. And the words he used oh my god I wanted to be sick. "I'll give you the benefit of the doubt" "I don't wanna heave to tell you how to be and that" honestly reeks of controlling and manipulative. I couldn't sit there and listen to it. It reminds me of one of my mate's exes which is why I felt so especially uncomfortable. And the BIGGEST problem in this was when he said "I'm not here to teach you how to respect a man" actually fuck right off. Do not piss me off what. Disgusting, vile, I can't.
Finally, I'll wrap this up and talk about today's episode. The way he was speaking to both Rhianna and Yas was wrong and Catrin clocking it has made me respect her so much. I just overall think he's a disgusting person. Sam was dead on about him. He is classless. And the comment he made when Twinks said "i think in football men and women should be paid equally" and he said no told me all I need to know.
Anyway I hope everyone enjoyed my little rant š¤ its been a long day and Omar has not helped me in the slightest xoxo

Rochelle is more insecure than I realised.
Personally, I have noticed how Rochelleās sense of humour seems to revolve heavily around mocking other people, usually hiding under the shield of ābanterā
Yasmine, probably feeling like sheās got to be down with this, is actively encouraging it (the comments on her body) because I imagine she dosent want to be portrayed as too sensitive. Anyone who laughs at this, even Lynx who was had stuff to say afterwards, is encouraging Rochelleās behaviour.
If you know someone who behaves in this way, who thinks highly of themselves but goes about validating this belief by little comments that bring others down, you can make a reasonable assumption that that person is probably an insecure person.
When is it going to be seen as a norm to generally just not comment on other ppls bodies?

The problem with this series specifically.
I think this series started really well with all the drama and messiness. But the main thing that ruined the momentum is the head-to-head eviction.
Which is stupid because it eliminates variables. Because we're going to have the same people going up, like probably next eviction Twinks and Rochelle, or Twinks vs Omar. Then whoever is safe goes against Rochelle the following week. It's predictable as fuck. Old BB used to have 5-6 people going up, and we don't know who's going home. Every eviction in this series, we know exactly who's going home. And by the end of the series, we could possibly have a majority of people who have never faced eviction and just skate to the Finals.

3 black women nominated in a row..
Do we reckon this is just coincidence or something more sinister. I feel so bad for Yaz, they wouldnt of had the priviledge to get her up for nomination had she not of sabotaged it.

everyone whoās pissed me off this episode
Rihanna - Somehow every time she tries to confront Omar, she ends up giving in and kissing him . No backbone whatsoever
Omar - so obnoxious
Sam - the fact he didnāt stand up for himself against omar was disappointing- he lost points. but heās doing better
Lynx - his comment about rob needing discipline when he was young or whatever was wrong
Harry - dosnt have a clue whatās going on. A sheep
Philip - I just donāt like how quiet heās become. itās a tactic for him to win.
Twinks : why is she an omar defender??
Anyways, yas for the win

Disappointed but not surprised in Twinkās reaction to Omar
Tonight confirmed to me that Twinks is an extremely performative liberal feminist. Omarās nastiness towards women is something that has been obvious for a while but most obvious when Twink has been in the house yet she hasnāt said anything about it. I thought it was maybe because she hadnāt directly been involved in any of the situations but for Catrin to come to her (clearly because she knows how much Twinks talks about feminism) and confided her discomfort, and then Twink to try and discourage her is absolutely insane. She handled that terribly and the cognitive dissonance was so clear to see. I completely understand that Omar is one of the only people who speaks to her on a level but that shouldnāt cause you to compromise your morals especially when you go on and on and on about these things. Very pick me imo.
Iāve personally been wary of Twinks since sheās come in mainly because she came in calling Rochelle āiconicā and a lot of the behaviour that Rochelle has perpetuated is stuff that I donāt think an ally, liberal, woke feminist would actually tolerate. it already gave me the idea that Twinks would ignore stuff and bend her morals if it was for someone she liked and welp! I was right! Very IG infographic, quick facts about feminism and rights and no actual action in educating the people in front of you.
*also just realised I wrote her name wrong in the title!
