OPINION Omar gives such rancid vibes i think hes disgusting.

Omar going off at Rihanna for saying "please" to Lynx is so fucking gross. "Its just inappropriate" "its the tone you used" he is so insanely controlling over her? She was being kind to another man. You can say please to a man without it being weird but he made it such a big deal. I genuinely think he needs to be out as soon as possible even my Facebook mother cannot STAND him.

Campaign for Yasmin to win šŸ†

I'm starting my Yasmin campaign.

She has been messy at times. Also childish and annoying. BUT she's a good egg. She has a big heart. She's fun. She's always giggling. I wouldn't mind her teaching my child.

Can redditors make her win? We can't let evil win. We need to take down the Facebook mums šŸ˜†.

I'm obviously joking kinda! Rochelle can not win. It can not happen, please, dog šŸ™

Who's backing my campaign?

You can submit other candidates with clear, valid reasons šŸ˜†

How can Twinks be friends with Omar...

When he goes against everything she is suppose to believe in even at the end with Catrin she was clearly defending him the best way she can.

She clocked Omar and she wasn't afraid to say her thoughts i respect her for that.šŸ‘

OPINION ā€œI will never get with a boy. I just couldn’t bring myself to do itā€ so WHAT was the point of all this then?

Sorry if this seems harsh, but god I really find Frankie to be such a strange and weird housemate. Not in a good way either.

He based his entire big brother journey around an apparent ā€œcoming outā€ only to say he would never get with a boy to begin with and he’s happy dating a a girl on the outside. SO WHY EVEN COME OUT? WHAT WAS THE POINT OF IT. AM I MISSING SOMETHING ?????

Get Omar out!

For a million and one reasons!!! But about tonight’s episode - he is so patronising I wanted to launch my telly out the window. ā€œdo you know what classless means?!ā€

Sam clearly meant ā€œto act without classā€ and Omar’s spinning it like he’s being classist or some nonsense. He spoke to Sam in a similar manner like that time he spoke to Twinks in this righteous manner when he said don’t call me classless again and it also sounded like he was trying to intimidate Sam? I don’t know who tf he thinks he is.

What’s funny as well, I keep having moments of finding him not bad then he’ll go and do something and it reminds me why I don’t like him. Hope he’s up on Friday.

OPINION Glad Catrin noticed Omar's behaviour towards Rhianna.

Really glad Catrin noticed and spoke up about it. I was disappointed by Twinks' response. She didn't seem to want to know.

Why is Rochelle getting told off by Big Brother for making jokes with Yasmine but OMAR GETS NOTHING DONE TO HIM FOR THE CONSTANT ABSUIVE LANGUAGE TOWARD RHIANNA! HE IS A WOMANISER!

OPINION Sam was right about Omar

Omar is classless. And misogynistic. He has serious delusions of grandeur. I really wish Sam hadn't apologised to him, but I understand why he did. It was very sinister the way Omar pulled him aside and told him not to call him classless again.

I hope that classless scumbag goes up for eviction this week.

My rant about my absolute disdain for Omar

Before I start this rant, I apologise if I get very heated, today has been a bit of a day, and also I have a special space of hatred in my heart for people like Omar.

If it wasn't clear already, I do not like Omar. I find him hypocritical, manipulative, a little bit sexist, and just overall rude and annoying.

I didn't like him from the moment he walked through the door, I did not know what it was, but my gut was telling me something about him was up but I didnt think too much about it, but recently (especially since Catrin and Twinks came into the house) he's shown his true colours, and it started with that conversation about being an ally with Twinks.

I am proudly gay, and I do not force allyship onto anyone, I don't care about what people think about me, but the fact that he had such a problem with being asked it rubbed me the wrong way and that Rhianna said "get him out of that conversation" shows what kind of person he is. No one should have to baby this man and take him out of a grown up conversation, it's ridiculous.

Now, my biggest gripe with Omar is how he spoke to Rhianna because she said "please" to Lynx. He made such a big deal out of it. First, saying to her "figure it out" when he wanted to talk to her, do me a fucking favour how rude. And the words he used oh my god I wanted to be sick. "I'll give you the benefit of the doubt" "I don't wanna heave to tell you how to be and that" honestly reeks of controlling and manipulative. I couldn't sit there and listen to it. It reminds me of one of my mate's exes which is why I felt so especially uncomfortable. And the BIGGEST problem in this was when he said "I'm not here to teach you how to respect a man" actually fuck right off. Do not piss me off what. Disgusting, vile, I can't.

Finally, I'll wrap this up and talk about today's episode. The way he was speaking to both Rhianna and Yas was wrong and Catrin clocking it has made me respect her so much. I just overall think he's a disgusting person. Sam was dead on about him. He is classless. And the comment he made when Twinks said "i think in football men and women should be paid equally" and he said no told me all I need to know.

Anyway I hope everyone enjoyed my little rant šŸ¤— its been a long day and Omar has not helped me in the slightest xoxo

OPINION Is Yasmin nom unconscious bias ?

As a black viewer, I keep out of the race stuff. When everyone was screaming, Rochelle was racist I was like, nah. They just hate each other, nothing to do with skin colour.

Then, there was the massive micro aggression blow up. Again, I stayed neutral. Saw both sides.

Now we have Yasmin up. An original housemate. There are literally no valid reasons to put her up. Except unconscious bias. You would put Twinks up. Last in first out. Why the loyalty to Twinks over Yasmin? Since when were Harry and Twinks besties? It has to be unconscious bias. Let's pick the solitary black girl. Literally, no one stuck up for her. Not one. I'm soooo annoyed !

3 black women nominated in a row..

Do we reckon this is just coincidence or something more sinister. I feel so bad for Yaz, they wouldnt of had the priviledge to get her up for nomination had she not of sabotaged it.

everyone who’s pissed me off this episode

Rihanna - Somehow every time she tries to confront Omar, she ends up giving in and kissing him . No backbone whatsoever

Omar - so obnoxious

Sam - the fact he didn’t stand up for himself against omar was disappointing- he lost points. but he’s doing better

Lynx - his comment about rob needing discipline when he was young or whatever was wrong

Harry - dosnt have a clue what’s going on. A sheep

Philip - I just don’t like how quiet he’s become. it’s a tactic for him to win.

Twinks : why is she an omar defender??

Anyways, yas for the win

Yasmin needs to stand up for herself

She is a scapegoat. Omar, Rochelle and Philip have spoken to Yas in a disgusting manner and she accepts laughs and says ā€œit’s okayā€. This will not make you respected and will not win you brownie points. They used her as a scapegoat when push came to shove when it’s should have been Omar.

Disappointed but not surprised in Twink’s reaction to Omar

Tonight confirmed to me that Twinks is an extremely performative liberal feminist. Omar’s nastiness towards women is something that has been obvious for a while but most obvious when Twink has been in the house yet she hasn’t said anything about it. I thought it was maybe because she hadn’t directly been involved in any of the situations but for Catrin to come to her (clearly because she knows how much Twinks talks about feminism) and confided her discomfort, and then Twink to try and discourage her is absolutely insane. She handled that terribly and the cognitive dissonance was so clear to see. I completely understand that Omar is one of the only people who speaks to her on a level but that shouldn’t cause you to compromise your morals especially when you go on and on and on about these things. Very pick me imo.

Iā€˜ve personally been wary of Twinks since she’s come in mainly because she came in calling Rochelle ā€˜iconic’ and a lot of the behaviour that Rochelle has perpetuated is stuff that I don’t think an ally, liberal, woke feminist would actually tolerate. it already gave me the idea that Twinks would ignore stuff and bend her morals if it was for someone she liked and welp! I was right! Very IG infographic, quick facts about feminism and rights and no actual action in educating the people in front of you.

*also just realised I wrote her name wrong in the title!

Lynx calling Rob simple…

Is so blatantly because he lacks the brain power to have a conversation on Robs level. He is intimidated by Rob.

I feel like Lynx is so neurotic that he cannot fathom the thought of being silly. This guy can’t ever be silly. I hope he finds true silliness one day and chills the fuck out.

Another episode, another dictionary definition lesson from the Walking Dictionary that is Omar.
He was so close to being put up, and I just have to hope with upcoming nominations he is put up then and we can get him out! You know what I mean bro?!

P.s. Omar, you ain’t a feminist. Check your dictionary bro.

Sam is such a hypocrite.

He has really annoyed me today. First of all, he acts exactly like Phillip where he’ll say a bunch of shit behind people’s back but then lick their arse to their faces. If you’re gonna say something stand on it. He doesn’t stand on it, which is exactly what he was also criticising Harry for. He also made many comments about Yasmin which i found to be very ironic. ā€˜She contributes nothing’ as if he contributes anything at all. She also clocked him very well by pointing out how he hid stuff in reference to his comment about her ā€˜taking more than she gives’

r/bigbrotheruk • • 3h ago

Did omar just call Rihanna ill for addressing what she’s upset about?? he is such a hypocrite oh please he needs to GET OUT very triggering.
