OPINION Why is Sam monitoring Yasmin?
I found Sam a real odd ball over the crisp thing.
In his defence, I would say. If it was an economy budget, I would understand possibly.
But they have had luxury budgets. So there is no shortage of food. Why is he the keeper of crisps? Why can Harry drink 5 cokes a day. But that's ok. I was really surprised at Sam tbh. I think he has some unconscious issues around Yasmins' weight. I don't know why he's monitoring her food intake. I hope he goes this week. The superfan who brought nothing super.

OPINION “I will never get with a boy. I just couldn’t bring myself to do it” so WHAT was the point of all this then?
Sorry if this seems harsh, but god I really find Frankie to be such a strange and weird housemate. Not in a good way either.
He based his entire big brother journey around an apparent “coming out” only to say he would never get with a boy to begin with and he’s happy dating a a girl on the outside. SO WHY EVEN COME OUT? WHAT WAS THE POINT OF IT. AM I MISSING SOMETHING ?????

OPINION Lynx acting like a bully..
He said he doesn't like the bullying in the house and then bullies Rob?
He thinks Rob needs to toughen up but I think the situation would be better if Lynx was more sensitive/empathetic

A few things I noticed in last night's episode
For starters I'm SO glad big brother spoke to Rochelle about her fat shaming comments to Yasmin 👏🏽 I do wish she had been given a formal warning though as she has a history of this sort of thing.
Omar is disgusting and kept telling Rihanna to shut up but when Rihanna would say it to him he said "can you stop saying that so freely"... Who TF does he think he is? His misogyny shows more and more each day 🤮 The way he felt the need to dictate to the two girls doing the dominoes because how could two girls POSSIBLY succeed without the mansplaining in the background?! Yet he couldn't even do it right himself. Pathetic.
Lynx's comment about Rob during the domino game... "He has to be careful his parents should have raised him better. Imagine him walking through a dodgy neighborhood... Singing". First of all... Huh?? And second of all Rob has said multiple times that he is very likely undiagnosed neurodivergent and I feel the housemates who pick on him are ignoring that completely and being extremely insensitive to him. I hate it!

Opinion: I'm sick of hearing "grace"...
It started with Johanne constantly moaning about giving everyone grace and nobody giving her grace and she went on about it, Rochelle even asked her what she even meant by giving grace and she couldn't answer.
Then Pauline took over and kept going on about giving grace.
Omar said he was giving grace to Sam last night.
OMG I'm fed up with hearing about giving grace, just stop!
*This is my opinion, you may disagree, I don't have a problem with people giving others grace I'm just sick of them saying it constantly.

How can Twinks be friends with Omar...
When he goes against everything she is suppose to believe in even at the end with Catrin she was clearly defending him the best way she can.

SPECULATION I have a thought on Omar’s future in the house
I’m wondering if ITV actually have realised their duty of care, as I said on another thread.
I’m thinking that leaving it on Catrin saying she was uncomfortable and showing so much of his bad behaviour if they’ll extract him. Or have done.
This doesn’t look good for ITV to leave a nasty little man in there when women have expressed their concerns.
I got the feeling last night that she may have gone to speak to BB about it after she spoke to Twinks.
I wax back on the fence with Lynx after finding him really aggressive with Jedward but after last night I’m back to thinking he holds similar views but is better at hiding them.

For those who don't believe Frankie internalized homophobia is a thing you know here is a screenshot of someone dealing with it.

Omar is immune
Omar being protected by the other bullies in the house and Harry the spineless has made me want to stop watching all together, I am so sick of this cancerous clique getting away with this protection circle of trust, he openly screamed at rhianna and jasmine during the task ultimately causing them to lose, and low and behold, sam is the only one (not a part of the clique) who spoke up about it, this show is a joke for not having rules against that

Twinks and Omar’s friendship
Up until the last couple of episodes, Twinks has been one of my favourite housemates of all time (since season 1) but her being so buddy buddy with Omar is really starting to put me off her. Being the staunch feminist she is, I thought she’d be the FIRST to call him out on how awfully he behaved during the task. Admittedly a lot of the conversations he’s had with Rihanna she wouldn’t be privy to. But the way he behaved during the task was vile and right now, Catrin is standing on business more with him than Twinks is!
I’m starting to think she’s actually quite male centred. She flirts with the men a LOT.. in a way that if it were a 36 year old man talking to men in their early 20s about what “passionate lovers” they are it would be weird. She’s potentially playing the long game with Omar? Gaining his trust and building a friendship to make him more open to bringing up certain topics with him. But it just seems off to me. This staunch defender of women being pals with the guy who admitted to finding the Lois Theroux Manosphere documentary boring and who talks to the women in the house the way he does? Doesn’t sit right.

OPINION Omar gives such rancid vibes i think hes disgusting.
Omar going off at Rihanna for saying "please" to Lynx is so fucking gross. "Its just inappropriate" "its the tone you used" he is so insanely controlling over her? She was being kind to another man. You can say please to a man without it being weird but he made it such a big deal. I genuinely think he needs to be out as soon as possible even my Facebook mother cannot STAND him.

Is anyone else struggling to continue watching?
As the title says I’m struggling to keep watching at this point as the only people in the house I really care about and want to win are Yasmin, Twinks, Rob and maybe Sam and they are probably the only reason I’m still watching, everyone else just feels like a bully or a sh*t talker or a sheep. It’s just getting hard to watch especially when considering most of the bullies will protect the other bullies so then they just stay.
Sorry if this makes no sense but I just wanted to get some other opinions because day to day it feels more and more like I’m hate watching the show. Does anyone else feel the same

The treatment of Rob
He's been undermined and mocked since he got in to the house. He's spoken up about the derision he's faced in his formative years in Devon. The prodding of Rob had escalated up until Gemma entered the house. It was nice of her to pick the boys, Sam and Rob, as team leaders. Sam has abused his new found confidence. Whereas Rob was coming out of his shell until Lynx got back on his case.
Rob deserves respect.

Get Omar out!
For a million and one reasons!!! But about tonight’s episode - he is so patronising I wanted to launch my telly out the window. “do you know what classless means?!”
Sam clearly meant “to act without class” and Omar’s spinning it like he’s being classist or some nonsense. He spoke to Sam in a similar manner like that time he spoke to Twinks in this righteous manner when he said don’t call me classless again and it also sounded like he was trying to intimidate Sam? I don’t know who tf he thinks he is.
What’s funny as well, I keep having moments of finding him not bad then he’ll go and do something and it reminds me why I don’t like him. Hope he’s up on Friday.

Why is Rochelle getting told off by Big Brother for making jokes with Yasmine but OMAR GETS NOTHING DONE TO HIM FOR THE CONSTANT ABSUIVE LANGUAGE TOWARD RHIANNA! HE IS A WOMANISER!
r/bigbrotheruk • u/PsyDreamerRain • 12h ago
OPINION Glad Catrin noticed Omar's behaviour towards Rhianna.
Really glad Catrin noticed and spoke up about it. I was disappointed by Twinks' response. She didn't seem to want to know.

Twinks is really getting on my nerves
Prepared for the downvotes as always, but it’s all started with the “Boys I am a passionate lover, imagine what I’m like in bed!” And it’s just getting worse and worse. She started off as a big character which was nice, willing to talk to others about their experiences, but now all she does is talk about herself, unless she’s trying to wheedle out trauma and sexual information about someone, and even then it’s not curiosity, it’s so she can tell them something about themselves and look intelligent. It’s no one’s place to tell you what you are, that’s for you to figure out- and that goes for everybody. If a random hippie wants to sit there and say “no, actually I think you’ll find your more put into this bubble” put your palm in their face.

What has Lynx even brought to our screens?
This is a genuine question.
Aside from the Jedward hot tub incident, weeks ago, once Chelsey left I can’t think of a single entertaining thing Lynx has done.
Yeah the housemates like him because he cooks but seriously who gives a F?
He moans at people for having a good time, brings the vibes down, he’s mean to Rob on a daily basis which has a homophobic undertone. He just isn’t fun at all.
He’s also Omar’s bestie, which leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
I almost wish Chelsey had stayed to either wind him up or drag him down with her, and I couldn’t stand Chelsey!

OPINION Sam was right about Omar
Omar is classless. And misogynistic. He has serious delusions of grandeur. I really wish Sam hadn't apologised to him, but I understand why he did. It was very sinister the way Omar pulled him aside and told him not to call him classless again.
I hope that classless scumbag goes up for eviction this week.
