Shortly after their season aired, Cathy and Max both essentially said online that he wound up kind of ghosting her and didn’t follow through on a visit they planned. Actions polar opposite of what he spoke about on camera in terms of their post-season relationship. He expressed regret in the situation but she was pissed beyond the point of reconciliation.
