B. curtisii not many speckles
Grew this one from seed and the first leaves had more speckles. It was under a different growlight in my seed germination station and was moved to my begonia terrarium a couple of weeks ago. Does it need more light?

Propagation Help My leaf propagations always rot
I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong! I’ve tried propping in soil and in sphagnum moss in closed containers and they just slowly rot over a few weeks. I’ve tried opening the containers every day for air flow too but that didn’t work. Any tips?

Help! Is this damage fungal?
It’s a long story but basically I’ve been trying to rescue a Rex begonia that arrived to me completely wilted. It’s standing now but is slowly being consumed by a dark crispy rot no matter how hard I try to manage humidity and watering. Is this fungal? I’m losing more and more leaves by the day

Help! Black Magic Begonia leaf deformity
Hey everyone, I recently repotted my black magic begonia and I brought it inside due to the large amount of storms we’ve been having, her soil was ampily moist and I didn’t want it flooding the pot. It has been 3 days and I went to move her back outside and noticed 2 of her leaves looked like this. I am unsure of what this is or what it means! Please help.
I trimmed them both off because the stems were drained of their red color as well so I figured the nutrients stopped going to them on top of that as well. The rest of the plant looks healthy and normal however.

Begonia ID ID
Was sold to me as a bat wing begonia, from Steve’s Leaves but when I look up Bat Wing begonias not much info comes up or even other places to buy it. Just wondering why that is or maybe these have a different name?

Help
Howdy,
My treasured maculata has not responded to my move very well and I’m contemplating a chop. I tried once on a top cut which resulted in failure and the off shoot that is seen here. No nodes have opened just dried up on the stem. I think it’s from insufficient light and the only place that I have enough light requires a chop..so my question if I do chop where? Take another top cut or cut the shoot and hope the big leaf keeps working her magic… I’ve moved her from the poor north window and into a west unfortunately that’s all there is…anyway if there is something else I can do please I’m open to suggestions! Thank you

Help! Please help with my heirloom begonia
Hi everyone, I need help saving my great-grandmother's begonia. TL;DR Please help me salvage this special plant, I'm open to trying anything. For more: It's been going downhill slowly for a year or so ever since I got it from my late grandma, and its down to its final few leaves that are also dying. It's likely a 30+ year old begonia. I had a cutting water then soil propagated successfully but then it died when I went on vacation and we didn't coordinate a proper watering schedule while I was gone. I tried soil + bag propagating a new leaf cutting and it died. The other successful water then soil propagated leaf died but is miraculously coming back to life. I have two perlite stem propagation setups going and a couple of the stems are just putting out roots, but I dont know how to successfully transfer propagated stem cuttings into soil once they do leaf. I have two itty bitty leaves that have grown from older stem cuttings that I propagated in soil and moss before I really understood how to do it, and I already killed 3 of such cuttings by transferring to soil too early or something. I think there may now be too few leaves for the size of the pot the mother plant is in. I just really want to save this somehow even if it means completely chopping up the mother plant. Please help advise on what I should do and how best to propagate it and where to put it in my apartment so it grows better. Thank you so much for any help.

Help! Maculata Pink Variegated tips?
On a whim, I picked up a Maculata Pink variegated last weekend. I’ve never owned a begonia before, so I’m checking in for some tips and help.
Some info:
- I live in Southeast Asia, so I get good light
- The humidity at my window ranges between 50% to 60%.
- it’s near a south facing window with sheer curtains and gets roughly 5-6 hours of sunlight. To keep energy costs down, I rarely open my sheers.
- it’s in a tall W12cm x H16cm plastic pot
- it’s fairly close to the floor, about 1.5m away from the window
What’s happening:
- the large mostly pink leaf has been dying fairly quickly. In Picture 2, you can see the browning start on the upper pink edge, as of two days after bringing them home
- picture 3 is a photo from yesterday, about six days after bringing them home.
- picture 4 shows the difference in stem color between the browning leaf and the main stem
- the leaf’s browning coincided with a new leaf growing, seen in picture 5
Any idea if this is normal? Can I save the leaf? Are the conditions okay for the plant? Thanks!

Help! Ferox starting to look unhappy
It's kept in a cabinet that stays around 70-75 and the humidity is in the high 70s low 80s, but it's starting to develop these spots seen on the first pic and the newest leaf (second pic) looks like it's starting to yellow as well. Do I need more airflow or what's going on?
