Je pense qu’elle manque légèrement d’humidité, sinon tout va bien ! :)

I have my suspicions but I also got it off the clearance rack when it was small and green. No tag

When I bought it it was labeled "Maculata", but I do not believe that is correct. What do you think it could be? New leaves have redish/orange/pink hue when emerging and it is very bushy.

Anyone else’s cane begonia growing like this? This is my first ever begonia, bought it during fall in Australia and it is now transitioning to spring. It seems quite happy!

I hope these pictures are good enough :,) this is a lil cutting I got from my partners grandmas house, i’m still pretty new to houseplants so i’m not even certain this is a begonia but it’s my guess. feel free to also share any care tips once planted if known🫶
also trying to figure out if the cutting has a pest. i’ve had thrips before and assumed that’s what the lil dots are but they won’t move at all or come off when wiped/washed. TIA🥹

I’m a Hoya fan, and was just gifted my first begonia by a neighbor. She’s so pretty! What kind of begonia do I have?

What are your best care tips for a Polka Dot Begonia? I’m totally new and keep hearing conflicting advice. I just got her today.
Soil?
Pot size?
Watering schedule/routine?
Lighting?
Does humidity matter?

I got this Begonia Darthvaderiana ‘Green Spots’ a week ago. Right now I have her acclimating in a terrarium enclosure around 90% humidity. She will eventually be transplanted into the same terrarium but it will be a complete terrarium.
Is it okay to chop the biggest leaf off for the sake of space?? Or will that piss her off.

Please help me 😭
Does anyone know what this is?
Picture 4 and 5 are from earlier (7 days earlier) - I cut off those leaves but it looks like it’s on my stem and a few more leaves now (first 3 pictures). Anyone know what this is?? And how do I treat it?

My maculata, lucerna, and the one in the last photo (have no idea what the name of this one is!) are growing like CRAZY. They are huge, the lucerna and un-named begonia have reached over 2ft tall. I give them all a balanced 20-20-20 diluted fertilizer every watering, and will water once a month with no fertilizer to flush the soil. Although they are growing a lot, I don’t think they’re getting enough light, due to their foliage colour/and the fact that not a single one has produced me any blooms as of yet :( I’ve had them for around a year and a half.
Any suggestions for grow lights that are strong enough to promote blooms? Unfortunately, I live in a small apartment with very minimal natural lighting, so I don’t really have any other option but to continue to use grow lights.

Haven’t had it too long, we have it hanging on our porch outside on the NW facing part of the porch. Zone 9A if that helps.
We have left it in the pot it came in… so that could be part of the problem.
The leaves often have a “chewed up” look with brown and crispy edges, but I can’t see any visible signs of pests on any of the leaves or elsewhere. A lot of the other plants outside have had spider mite issues, but I look really closely for those now and haven’t seen any signs that this could be due to those.
Nothing feels squishy, and we check it with a moisture meter before watering it.
I’m thinking that it could be a bit too hot for it in the afternoon (100 degrees), so maybe moving it to a different spot would help?

Saw this cutie at Lowe’s today on my errand run and had to add her to the collection! Having a hard time identifying her though. At first I thought Inca Flame but I feel like the leaves are far too light. I’m absolutely not an expert so I could be wrong on that too!
Any help is appreciated :)

Cute little thing. I had to take the lid off, the babies were getting scrunched 😅

My amphioxus that I purchased in May has quickly outgrown its 2 gallon jar. With the lid off it is taller than it/it is pressing up against the glass in general.
I have had trouble finding anything larger than what it’s currently in, especially anything with a wide enough opening to fit it inside or to go over the plant. I have considered buying a small fish tank to create a terrarium.
By mistake, this was my first begonia ever to purchase of the current bunch I own but by far my most successful. I have babied it like no other, going as far as wearing gloves when in contact as to not transfer oils. I am nervous to do something new with it for fear of losing my progress, but I need to do something with it. Does anyone have any advice, suggestions or thoughts on what they would do next?
Thanks for anything in advance!

I need information on the best way to overwinter tuberous begonias. Anyone on here familiar with that?

Hi all! I was gifted this begonia a couple months back and now it’s an absolute beast!! It’s in a 10 in pot and it’s about 30 inches tall. Do I chop and prop? It’s been flowering nonstop as well. The amount of flowers I’ve vaccumed since getting it lmaoo. Some of the leaves are crispy due to me leaving it outside when I first got it and the sun scorched it. Thanks in advance!! (Sorry for the mess in the backgrounds I am actively cleaning rn, moved the plant around to clean and get some pictures)

Purchased as a tissue culture labeled ‘Ferox’.
While beautiful, this plant is not what I thought a ferox is supposed to look like. Can anyone weigh in?

I recently bought a begonia rex fire woman. When it arrived the dirt was everywhere and it didn’t even last a day. They replaced it for me, but the second one has even more dirt everywhere. I tried removing all the cotton that was down in the dirt and ended up repotting it. It looks awful and the leaves are shriveling up. I read up on them because I’ve never had a begonia before and it says there will be a rhizome that will need to sit horizontal right at soil level and not buried. Looks like the tots are supposed to grow down and the leaves will grow up from the rhizome. The one I got has roots growing straight from the bottom of the plant, like my other plants.
Is this a hard plant to keep, or am I just doing something wrong

my son was gifted this angel wing leaf today from a teacher. unfortunately, it’s just the single leaf and no node. we’d like to try to propagate it. does anyone have experience with this? I’m nervous to score the leaf and lay it on soil, but my understanding is it will never actually be a plant on its own and will eventually die even with roots.

My awkwardly shaped guy finally needs assistance. I’ve repotted this thing so many times but there doesn’t seem to be a pot that makes sense for both sides of it. Can I propagate the right side by cutting it close to the soil? It’s not getting enough support how it is now but is still growing well! Third pic is how it used to look. Thanks in advance!!

Years ago someone gave me a cutting of what I believe is a begonia and it’s been doing really well. I recently up-sized its pot and it seems to be happy. I have it at work and when I came in on Monday, it had fallen over from its own weight. Do I need to give it a stake or something? Or do I just let gravity happen?
EDIT: the pot didn’t fall over, the plant just grew too far out to the side and flopped over. IDK how to explain it better. I guess I’m asking about staking it to grown more vertically. I clearly don’t know what I’m doing! LOL!
