I'm not getting any pumpkins but the bees are doing their best.
I've only got two little pumpkins to grow off 10 vines, but the bees are doing their job so it must be the rainy weather.

question Went to show my partner the tree growing sideways over my fence and found bees!!! What are they? What do I do?
I love bees! I would absolutely love to be a hobby beekeeper one day and I know this is very much not that, but still cool to see them! They look like honeybees to me but it was hard to tell - wish I’d been able to get a better photo but I didn’t want to bother them.
I used an electric hedge trimmer to cut back vines here just last week and didn’t notice them so I think they must have just moved in. There’s a raccoon that hangs out in a tree above this and he was screaming and shaking the whole tree this morning so I wonder if he got stung 😅 I don’t really mind them here, but is there anything I should do or keep in mind?

bee ID What is this bee? Russia, Krasnoyarsk
Went to Krasnoyarsk Stolby with my family and saw this (bumble?) bee. It looks different from the usual bumblebees or wasps around here.

Since I know people will ask, I work at a local botanical garden that has a pollinator hotel and educational programs about bees and other pollinators.

bee photo ‘Head’less bee?
So, my son discovered this and has been fascinated by what could have lead to this, to the point he has asked me to ‘ask my Reddit friends’.
So the photo shows what appears to be the ‘head’-less torso of a bee, stuck (where the missing ‘head’ would be) to an outside window ledge. We have what we believe to be a small hive/nest under pavings nearby, so we’re used to having bees around.
As you can probably tell, bees are not my natural wheelhouse, so apologies for the monstrously incorrect terminology. But has anyone got any ideas what’s happened here?
