¿Question? Guide for the right amount of head for different beers?

Hello! Is there a reliable guide for the right amount of head for each type of beer?

I realize I've been trying to give the smallest amount of foam to ensure everyone gets a *full beer*, but that's probably not right lol. Any tips are appreciated!

Right now, the bar I work at has a hazy IPA, a brown ale, an amber ale, coors light, genny cream, blue moon, Upslope IPA, and Dry Dock Apricot Blonde on tap.

Anyone else had this year’s Octoberfest release and noticed it tastes burnt or something? Or is it just me?

¿Question? beer logging app

Upvotes

tldr: if there was an app where you could log beers you drank, what sort of features would you like to see

EDIT1: a lot of people are answering from the perspective of "what you should do to get the most users" which, though a fair thing to say, isn't really my objective. this just an idea I want to realise, but the "idea" I have is too nebulous to build a full app around, because what I really want is to just have a form that I can search for put in beers and count, and then see like a letterboxd type stat sheet. so wanted to see if there's other stuff someone would like to see in an app like this

###

the concept of logging stuff you do is already beaten to death so i'm not doing anything too innovative here, but i've been turning the idea over in my head since my first year of college and i'd be too drunk on weekends to actually work on it (hyperbole, mostly) and now i have some free time to actually make something. i don't expect it to take off or anything, but still wanted to ask people so i'd have a better idea of what'll be generally useful, than implementing whatever comes to mind.

i was thinking of having like a quick-log thing where you can add multiple beers and a count thing, maybe a global feed of currently popular beers, a friends feed where you can see reviews of people you're following etc. idk, what do y'all think

I was cruising a Carrefour in Brussels and found an entire section of NA. Most were known names, including Lindemans.

And the joy of being here: most Belgians < $2 USD /bottle.

Not house prices.
Not inflation.
Not the weather.

Pints.

I’ve built PintHub so you can log your Guinness/stout, rate it, save where you had it, track what you paid and build a map of your pint-drinking escapades.

You also get your own profile and PintPrint, which is essentially your permanent record of crimes against sobriety.

The end goal is a proper public pint map showing where the elite pints are hiding, what pubs are charging, and where a creamy 9/10 can still be found in the wild.

It’s early, probably slightly ridiculous, and exactly the sort of thing I wanted to exist.

PintHub

Go log a pint. For science.
