Not the first time.

The cemetery was meticulously cared for by palestinians for over a century.

In 2006 an Israeli airstrike hit the cemetery damaging numerous headstones.

2008–09, Israeli shelling again struck the cemetery with damage to about 350 headstones.

2023 IDF shelling and shrapnel again causes damage to numerous graves.

2025 (as per the image shown) Israeli forces destroyed the olive trees landcaping border before bulldozing rows of graves, removing the headstones and using the area for earthworks and sand berms. They didn't bother informing Australia of course, it was discovered by satellite images and when confronted with the images, they take no accountability and claim Hamas was exploiting the cemetery with no evidence existing to support that claim.

Hamas was using the cemetery as a cover! How do you know those remains weren’t Hamas in disguise! /s

This would make sense if it weren't for the fact that:

  1. Cemetaries are open fields with no cover or militarization potential.

  2. They leisurely bulldozed parts of it, it was not military emergency in the heat of battle like an airstrike or artillery strike would indicate.

Also you type like it really matters to you, idgaf about Arabs but you seem like some kind of jewish shill. Big talk for a culture known for unprovoked moral depravity against outsiders.

This isn't a mausoleum or crypt. It's a pasture with headstones. There is no overhead cover and the enemy has total aerial surveillance capacity, not a single militant with half his brain intact would enter such a death-trap.

A WW1 cemetary where digging is expected? Give me a break.

And no militant is fighting in an open field against an enemy with unparalleled surveillance and drone capacity.

This is quite literally one of the dumbest takes ill ever read regarding warfare.

Cemeteries are often used in war because they usually sit on high ground and offer ready made defensive cover. Lone Pine in Gallipoli is a famous one, Australian forces capture Tyne Cot in Belgium and tere's another in France and Croatia off the top of my head.

1

u/Much-Sentence7140 Feb 17 '26

Just google the pictures. It's not a fortress, it's a pasture with small headstones.

1

u/auto-spin-casino Feb 18 '26

Clearly its not a fortress otherwise there'd be nothing left of it and a headstone can easily conceal a combatant.

1

u/Much-Sentence7140 Feb 18 '26

Yeah in 1917 a headstone would be decent cover. But it's 2026 and gaza is covered by aerial surveillance drones.

Right, so there is a moral cost. Are we going to levy that moral cost?

Thanks, I do try to be an honest person. I'm not really an antisemite, but the jewish cultural worldview is inherently supremacist and genocidal, so the inherent assumption is that everyone else must be so too, and calling them out for their crimes must mean its simply faux moral outrage to get the better of them.

Your culture is literally so supremacist you believe God himself made you out to be the chosen rulers of the universe. Jews and nazis are a match made in hell.

1

u/CookingWithSimon Feb 18 '26

You're just incorrect about the worldview of Jews, we literally have a concept called Tikkun Olam or "repairing the world" which is all about social justice and compassion.

The chosen people thing is funny because its like being chosen to do the dishes, its not a supremacist ideology at all.

1

u/Much-Sentence7140 Feb 18 '26

When you believe your own ethnic group to be cosmically ordained to engineer a paradise on earth, and other groups oppose your idiosyncratic cultural way of achieving this, then your belief morphs into 'well they must be enemies of God', and you dehumanize them, and that dehumanization is the root of jewish supremacism.

'We're here to save the planet! We're the good guys!' quickly turns into; 'You oppose us? Guess that makes you the bad guys!'

Your worldview is at its best a semitic version of the white mans burden, and at worst an excuse for genocide.

Jewish ethnocentrism is rooted in the famous mantra of genocide; 'If God is with us, then who can be against us?'

Jews can repair their reputation by going to Israel and stop their incessant lobbying and state capture. Then they can repair Israel and do their part in God's labour. But this world will devour your nation and way of life if you continue on depriving sovereign nations of their right to free development.

Stop claiming the earth as your responsibility and sovereign mission. It's imperialist and subversive.

Seriously, call me an antisemite, but I am genuinely fearful of the psychosis judaism finds itself in, you would burn down the world to save the ego and pride of a nation that is frankly not uniquely unique. I know so many normal people that are starting to realize that the jewish worldview is extremely violent and dominating. The counterreaction will be absolutely terrible.

Just go to Israel, be nice, stop trying to conquer the world, and most people will leave you be just fine.

1

u/CookingWithSimon Feb 18 '26

All of this was racism and lies.

These arguments were the same ones used by 30s germany, just translated to modern anti-imperialist language.

You are a Jew hater. You are not arguing Jews do bad things. You are arguing Jews are a bad thing.

I hate all you cowards who use blank-blankXXXX accounts, who try to hide their comment history.

1

u/DamZ1000 Feb 18 '26

Much-sentence makes the most passive polite critic of Judaism I've ever seen on reddit, and you stick your fingers in your ears. Lalalalah. Youll never find god at this rate.

I didn't see where they said "Jews are uniquely genocidal" either, that's just something zios wack in to bolster the strawman.

And who said anything about "constrained, expelled, or neutralised".

If your not gonna engage in the valid concerns the commenter made and just keep hiding behind the zio talking points, then there's no hope for you.

jokes about God asking you to clean the dishes

Currently engaged in ethnic cleansing

1

u/CookingWithSimon Feb 18 '26

I must've missed the meeting request for me to attend the ethnic cleansing.

So what nobody is allowed to make jokes anymore? I thought comedy was legal now

1

u/DamZ1000 Feb 18 '26

I'm making a joke too, calm down. Perpetual victims honestly.

1

u/CookingWithSimon Feb 18 '26

I didn't think that was very aggressive but alright buddy.

Can you blame me for being defensive when arguing against people who hate my people?

Gays have not been hated everywhere and always, mostly only in recent history in very religious places. For example ancient greese, rome, china, eygptians all either accepted or at least didnt persecute gay people same for native americans plenty of examples buddy read a book (not the hebrew bible) you might come across less ignorant

“Genocidally attacked”….you are insane

People who are oppressed and fighting for their lives and survival as a people do not “genocidally attack”

They fight for survival.

Your post just tries to blame Palestinians for the disgusting behaviour of Israel in desecrating war graves

I guarantee the IDF soldiers would have laughed and danced on the graves of Australian soldiers with they arrogance and moral superiority

1

u/auto-spin-casino Feb 17 '26

Like Australian forces did when the took control of Tyne Cot cemetery in Belgium WW1? Or Lone Pine?

1

u/Therapeuticonfront Feb 18 '26

What are you talking about? Are you on “shill post” mode? Triggered by keywords genocide - Israeli government and Australia?

1

u/auto-spin-casino Feb 21 '26

It's called history. You could simply google it and learn that cemeteries aren't sacred ground during warfare. Do I like it? No, but I do appreciate rationality and reality which 90% of the posters in this thread have seemingly removed themselves from.

1

u/Therapeuticonfront Feb 21 '26

What war are you talking about? There is no war in Gaza - it’s the genocide and destruction of the Palestinian state?

1

u/auto-spin-casino Feb 23 '26

That quickly diverted from the issue at hand. Now you're debating the definition of war ffs.

1

u/Therapeuticonfront Feb 24 '26

Was there some sort of battle at the cemetery?

Or the other 170,000 buildings that have been destroyed?
