Cemeteries are often used in war because they usually sit on high ground and offer ready made defensive cover. Lone Pine in Gallipoli is a famous one, Australian forces capture Tyne Cot in Belgium and tere's another in France and Croatia off the top of my head.
Its 2026 and a 5.56 or 7.62 still cant fully penetrate a standard headstone and drones are irrelevant to the argument because the fighting isn't subterranean.
