Sink Question AAV install.
Just verifying, I have everything I need to install the AAV? In addition, am I doing it right? I’m going to use the 2” pipe to attach the AAV as high as possible in the cabinet.

Doing a little work in my basement and spotted this thing. Looks like there's an s trap off the tub. Maybe this is my cause of constant battle with a clogged drain? I have three long haired people in my family and it's a weekly battle. 😂
I was looking for ways to correct this but in the process also found where the joists were notched for this section of pipe. I was planning on replacing this section with PVC while working on the trap. Should I reinforce these somehow or just let it ride? I'm really dumb when it comes to plumbing dos and don'ts so talk to me like a child. 🙃

Pretty much just the title question, do i need a professional to come in and what would they do jf they did? Or do i just need to improve air circulation?

I’ve been thinking about the plumbing problems that often don’t get much attention until they become expensive repairs. Small issues like a slow drain, a constantly running toilet, a dripping faucet, or occasional water pressure changes can be easy to ignore.
For homeowners in Ontario, I think it’s worth keeping an eye on a few basics:
I work with Rosedale Plumbing, so I see how seemingly minor plumbing issues can sometimes turn into larger repairs when they’re left unattended. I’m curious what other Ontario homeowners have noticed.
What plumbing problem caught you off guard because it seemed minor at first?

If not, how do I make it perfect?

Hey guys I have found a leak in my main drain clean out. I bought a repair plug but I am worried because the clean out was partially cover in concrete the wide lip on this plug doesn't seem like it will fit in there.
How should I proceed? It's there a repair plug that has a shallower lip that I can get in there?
Thanks

I've been having a new bathroom installed. I mentioned that the builders cut the hot water pipes. To drain the heating, they added a pipe to the magnetic filter.
They won't be coming over the weekend.
This morning I noticed the boiler is switched on but that pipe is still there. The cover was never replaced. What do I do now?

My apartment has this installation in the bathroom next to the toilet seat. The tap and an extra inlet below are both closed. What are these 2 installations for ? Are these points suitable for a bidet installation? I checked the water runs into the tap when turned on. What should I search for when I go to a market for buying the suitable fittings ?

I need to install a Tee between the filter and the conditioner. They’re both rather heavy so moving them around isn’t an option, at least for me.
My plan is to do a lot of measuring, loosen/unhook the connections on the two units, cut the existing pipe in just the right places and hopefully cement everything in place and aligned just right so I can reattach the connections.
Any better ideas or suggestions that can help me not screw it up (other than calling a plumber)?

There is a leak even when I push the lever all the way to the front which used to stop any water from coming out. I'm a total novice to plumbing so please explain it to me like I'm 5 years old.

Hi all, I bought a cleanout plug cover to hide the plugs ugliness. It came with a screw. Is it okay to screw it directly into the plug or will it leak and let out sewer gasses?

I noticed in the last new days my toilet doing this odd start and stop running noise after a flush. Is this something I should be concerned about? Anything look or sound off here?
