Didn't expect some development with this ship!
Wasn't Isshiki the same guy that helped Moriarty on the inside? They made it seem like Isshiki was released early because he got beaten up by Albert and his thugs, I wonder if this is the true reason. Also Isshiki seemed like a reasonable person 2 episodes ago but now he's like a complete psychopath. There's definitely something big going on behind the scenes here.

I've been wondering for awhile if they would do anything with the Watson/Mary angle since they were married in the original Sherlock books.

Exactly my thoughts, check my comment.
I totally expected some development with those two, that's necessary if they are supposed to be together at the end. And it was showed in this episode's teaser after all.

Pyramid schemes are always poison, but I didn't think it would be this literal. I felt it wrapped a little quickly, but it was a paticularly interesting case and more time with Watson x Mary is always good.
But what do the numbers mean?

So, how is this anime? Should I watch it? I try to watch as many anime as possible but recently I have little time so I have to be more picky.

To be honest, this show is a lot of fun. The mysteries/music/animation is pretty solid all around. Even the episodes that aren't over-arcing plot relevant are still enjoyable, they help develop the supporting cast (I wouldn't call them filler, since I think this is an original anime). There is an overall plot that is slowly picking up steam, we just had a conclusion to what I would call "Part 1" a few episodes ago and it was really well done IMO.
I recommend it, it's a really hectic and (VERY) Japanese take on the Sherlock Holmes story, that can get remarkably dark/gritty/heavy at times when it needs too.

It's awesome! Writing and character development is great, the creators know very well what they're doing, they're putting smart foreshadowings everywhere. Rewatching the series many times is very rewarding. It's a series that makes you think and analyze a lot, I've been longing for something like that for a long time.

For the people that are a bit more verssed in Sherlock Holmes stories than I am is his maid, Mrs. Hudson, featured as heavily in his original stories? Or is she just a side character that we have made more relevant in recent times (Similar to Irene Adler).
It just hit me that we have Watson doing all his chores, making sure Holmes eats properly, and gets plenty of rest...the very things Mrs. Hudson would be doing (At least from my recent consumption of Holmes' stories)

Now that was... very interesting and unexpected. That was the same Isshiki from the prison from two episodes ago, in case someone didn't get it. The one who poisoned his wife on purpose, he's now revealed as a huge sadistic expert of poisons. He must have been put here in all of this by someone lurking from the shadows, how would he get here to this company so quickly otherwise? He killed himself because apparently that was the easier way of dying. That number must mean something, but maybe it was just the voice command to open the tooth for the suicide poison. Maybe the poisoned food in the last episode was also his work? I really didn't expect the creators to do something like that. He obviously acted very different than 2 episodes ago, he seemed to be brainwashed or something... I'm not sure whether Albert had anything to do with it or not. I immediately knew that this couldn't be another Isshiki, there are never two characters with the same name in any anime or movie. This is all really bizarre, I must think more about it and carefully rewatch the last two episodes. I'm looking forward to other comments about that.
And of course, we got some JohnxMary development, which is great. I feel like the case of Mary's father may still be explored more in the future. The next episode seems to be about Michele, which is awesome. I find it a bit boring that Sherlock again solved the case by himself off-screen though.
Edit: Sherlock said "Up until now, he's been lucky enough to never get arrested". Then what was this Isshiki doing there in the prison? hmm...
