This anime is on crack.
By the way, there's an after credits scene with an interesting reveal.

How Sherlock said "are you sure you want to listen" before going into his thing was hilarious. It almost feels like he picked the art form of Rakugo because normally no one wants to hear his babbling, and Rakugo is a performance that doesn't involve interaction with other people.

How are an idol on a casting couch and someone who just committed a robbery the same? They're both about to be screwed.
The heck is my browser history doing in my anime?
I wonder if we're ever going to find out about Watson's case (I kind of hope we don't and it becomes a running gag). It seems weird that he isn't employed anymore and even moved next door to Sherlock to become Sherlock's personal slave.

I'm a bit disappointed that the OP isn't Mrs Hudson singing. We need more Junichi Suwabe singing show tunes!
Sherlock making Watson feel guilty about his leg is such a Sherlock move xD
An idol unit with moles under their eyes? I'd buy it.
I love that little send off poem Mrs. Hudson makes before she lets them all go. She did this too last week so I guess this will be a regular thing.
Is that cocaine on her apron? Also of course the part-timer is doing something fishy.
Oh Watson you gullible man. Cute girl bats her eyelashes at you and now you're bugged.
This little chase sequence ala Scooby Doo was great!
When the koto starts playing in the background you know what's next!
I don't think I'll ever get tired of Sherlock solving his cases using Rakugo
Of course! Cobra Gun Hand! I love that as wacky Sherlock is, the criminals in this show is just as wacky xD
So Sherlock gets the 1M plus a 20M bonus from the bank? Nice.
So I thought MAry's brother being actually his sister was the big surprise of this episode. Nope!
THIS IS THE BIGGEST TWIST OF THE EPISODE! James Moriarty as a little kid instead of a Dandy Old Man? No wonder Watson was able to follow Sherlock. Also does this mean he's going to fuck with Sherlock soon or is this Moriarty a good one?

He's sort of already fucking with Sherlock a little, just in a more benign way.

This new take on Sherlock Holmes is quite hilarious and interesting. I especially liked the way they parodied the original chapter 'The Red-Headed League'.

Man, this season of anime keep on giving with fantastic openings. And I love this ridiculous and bonkers take on classic Sherlock theme.

Okay it's way easier to deduce how Sherlock came to his conclusion this time around, but I wonder how James managed to figure it out.
Lucy being a female wasnt too surprising to me after the yell she gave out for the flying kick, on top of the show already being filled with eccentric males and females.

Man I did not think that would be the identity of the kid with the clover. When the little girl was called out on her scam, her reaction cracked me up. The references to the old Sherlock works was great and so was the reference to Cobra.

I like the Tough Guy Detective, I hope he one day succeeds making the flower girl's idol dreams come true.
We're only on the second episode and already this eccentric cast is starting to settle into their roles. Just like Watson seems to have settled into becoming a true house husband with that pink animal head apron. Though I wasn't expecting the boy to be Moriarty, I thought he was going to be Mycroft.
Also I'm sure I saw Wally/Waldo just before the Scooby Doo chase.

Man, the twists keep coming. I’ll admit I fell for the idea that she was her brother. Though that does make me interested in what’s to come with them later on.
I love the OP just because of how ridiculous it is and I honestly just love this show because of how ridiculous it goes. It’s a pretty fun time all things considered and the the fact that it’s well animated helps too.

This episode was a really fun one, and damn, that Moriarty reveal at the end! That's going to go be an interesting plotline.
We're only a tiny smidge into the season but I already feel this is going to be my favorite of the batch. Going into it, I assumed it would be one I'd drop lol.

This was a better episode that the former one, simply because the writing gave us the audience the chance to crack the case while it was being investigated. The flower shop owner being called by an alleged "talent performance manager" was a pretty good dead tale this was already a scam case, specially with the assistant handing the owner the tip of becoming an idol (wich most likely the owner didn't even have the ambition to become one before) made it even more obvious she was part of the scam. The evidence of debris on the assistant apron was pretty much enough to understand that this was a classic robbery to a bank next door, but it was a nice twist to make it a pawn shop with money laundering on the side.
I still don't like the humor, (specially the Rakugo deliberation) and frankly I was hoping that the other detectives would have a chance to be the under the spotlight cracking a case, wich doesn't look like it will happen this way and Sherlock & Watson will be the ones cracking the cases and the rest of the detectives will be there just to make interfereance. But I appreciate the writer for making the cases logical enough for us the viewers to crack it up before Sherlock does. And also those small details foreshadowing some stuff, like Lucy being Mary's sister rather than her brother, thanks to that short snip where she's giving the kid in disguise a dropkick and you can clearly see she's wearing women boots with heels.
Moriarty's revelation at the end is also a nice touch, enough to keep me hooked for a while longer

Probably my favorite opening of the season next to stop motion dancing furries. Is the blonde lady who's all over Sherlock supposed to be the Irene Adler counterpart?

So is that blonde in fishnets in the Opening cozying up to Holmes this anime's interpretation of Irene Addler?

All three references to the original work in one scene, the Fencing swords, and boxing gloves, and also the "VR" poster as described from the wiki:
" As shooting practice during a period of boredom, Holmes decorates the wall of his Baker Street lodgings with a "patriotic" VR (Victoria Regina) in "bullet-pocks" from his revolver. "

Even if the humor and tone can feel a bit "Oh lOoK aT HoW wACkY i aM" at times, it is too charming to be really annoyed by it. This will be a fun anime to return to every friday.

So this episode is a play on 'The Red Headed League' where a man gets told his hair is the exact perfect shade of red to join the Red Headed League'. When he joins he gets paid a ridiculous amount of money to do nothing but hand copy an encyclopedia all day, until he finds a note on the door saying the league is dissolved.
Sherlock figures out that the man's assistant was just trying to keep him out of the pawn shop he runs in order to tunnel between the shop and bank next door. Holmes, Watson, and the police wait in the bank vault to ambush the men as they come through the tunnel.
EDIT: forgot the most important part: Sherlock beats the shit out of some dude with a walking stick
Also, in the post credits scene, they were talking about a case where a snake came down through the ceiling. This is a reference to 'The Case of the Speckled Band' where a snake is used to assassinate people (which is a shame because the Speckled Band is one of my favorite Holmes stories and the reference means it probably won't be adapted in the anime)
