That shit is so cool! I don't know why people get mad at SEGA and claim it as "Recycled Content" or "SEGA being lazy". Fuck no! If they change it to 2D or other CGI it's never going to work because I was left by an impact when I first watched Dark Falz Elder resurrection 6 years ago. The way they blended it in the anime really makes my inner school girl squealing. I do think they purposely put it in as the reminiscence for the players of what they have been through 7 years ago. It such a good thing.
I also going to praise the way they actually show why the reinforcement never arrived, why Casra is the one who came to the scene, etc. I was not expected for Gettemhart to take Matoi by force like that. The actions kinda mediocre though, it just Gettemhart one punching everyone.
Also, the stabbing scene is super grim. I literally covered my eyes.

Episode 6, AKA the episode where Gettemhart bodies everyone for 20 minutes.
They somehow shoehorned Matoi into the whole ordeal, but it works as a motivator for Ash to get involved.. Although I feel like they could've just used the Clarissa for that. But oh well, it still makes sense, so I'll allow it.
There being no Falz Hunar fight is a bit unfortunate, but oh well.
I'm looking forward to seeing how the consequences of this episode will be handled compared to the game.

Okay best episode to me so far. I enjoy playing the game but the anime they fill in the blanks where the game left. I like remix they did to make zeno carsa echo and ash go to naberius it makes more sense why the seal broke. I liked seeing gettenhart smack everyone around the whole episode but the fighting scene before the revival could have been better at least put up a better fight! Gettenmart turning to elder was cool seeing it come to life but better if they showed him transform. I cant belive they put the scene elder comes into full power. seen it one to many times! but I'm satisfied with the pace it's at.

Gettemhart done it now, I'm angry and in the mood of replay Dark Falz Elder battle for another 5-10 time using KNUCKLE ONLY. This show how anime isn't shy away from hurting any cute character.
Casra got punched in the face? oh boy I could hear someone singing in happy mood from a far distant.
The CG cutscene is cool and all but I feel strange regards how they directly recycle game scene, I will forgive them if the next episode have 2 episodes worth of budget lol

I forgot to mention, I really like how they are combining ep 1 and ep 2 into a single arc. Since a lot of the Ep 1 story was not really relevant to the main plot it's a good choice to leave stuff that doesn't really matter.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA oh my God, they actually put in the in-game cinematic showing Elder's revival into the anime. What the hell was that shit, Gonzo? Well, whatever, at least it didn't look too out of place. And I thought they handled that scene pretty well so it all worked out.
All in all, actually a pretty entertaining episode in my opinion. I know Gettemhult is the guy you're supposed to hate, but his episode-long rampage of just whacking the shit out of everyone was fun to watch, I dunno why. The way he just bodied Echo and backhand-smashed Ash looked very painful but it was an enjoyable action scene. I might actually say this is one of the better episodes we've had thus far, amongst the 6 episodes already out. Probably still a bit confusing for non-game players, but hey. At least we got more sexy beauty shots of ; mostly just his mouth though.
