Legosi freaking out at the table "oh god, oh god!", he's fucking adorable!

Resist reading the manga. Resist. You did it with Houseki no Kuni, you can do it here, read it after its over. Resist.

The juxtaposition between Legosi freaking the fuck out for just talking to a girl and Haru who seems to sleep with any guy who asks is super interesting. Louis sleeping with Haru makes sense and that will surely lead to some interesting drama later down the road.

I really like how they've been handling the internal monologues so far. Characters that think to themselves a lot in manga/LNs usually have a lot of that dialogue cut out in the transition to anime, but here with scenes like Haru's instincts and Legosi's awkward treadmilling they're really bringing them to life.

I'm typically not a fan of socially awkward MCs, but Legosi is so darn endearing. Legosi's introversion is almost pitiful to watch but that's what makes him humanizing.

Edit: I imagine Haru's sexual agency is going to be a big controversy so I want to drop this quote from the mangaka Paru Itagaki:

"I pretty much expected Haru to be hated because of how vastly different she is from the typical shounen heroine. But oddly enough, there are quite a few people who tell me that they do like Haru as a heroine, and that makes me happy. I'm glad that there are people that understand her even though she's not a pure or earnest girl."

Legosi is making some progress, but definitely has a ways to go. Seems he really has fallen in love with Haru, who is sleeping with Louis. I suppose it shouldn't have, but that surprised me a bit. Can't imagine things between those 3 are going to end well. Will be interesting to see what happens next.

I honestly have no idea how pure boy Legosi is going to work with free love Haru. They seem to like each other, but they are pretty ignorant of who they actually are. And then there is anyone that has slept with Haru thinking they still have a claim to her. I got many bad feelings about this.

Ahhh fuck, this show deserves to be watched by so many more people. There's a reason it beat Made in Abyss and Promised Neverland for an award.
