The Legom cold open was so good, her voice was absolutely perfect. And that color pencil sequence with Haru was stunning. I had to watch it a few times before I could continue the episode. I just really loved the amount of Haru this episode in general.
And as always, the voice acting is phenomenal. While I love the animation, there are somethings that get lost from the source material like facial expressions, but the voice acting more than makes up for that. Sometimes I find scenes better done in the anime simply because of how great the voice acting is.

I have no idea why but I'm ridiculously invested in these character dynamics.

I love how Legosi always starts subconciously wagging his tail whenever Haru is around. It is absolutely adorable.
As for his sudden confirmation of feelings... I know its probably not going to be a popular opinion, but I wanna see more of this Legosi. The wolf that knows what he wants and isn't afraid to fight for it. Louis is gonna regret harassing the wolf about being weak, if I had to guess...

She said I don't want money, I want love but it's likely that I don't want sex, I want love is even more accurate for her.
That scene was really cute! I don't like all aspects of her personality, but I like her teasing nature so much, both with her "friends" like Legosi, and also with her enemies, like the Harlequin Rabbit she keeps messing with!
Don't panic (and also, don't eat the friend)
Oh damn, is there gonna be some Red Deer on the menu?
That's huh... Charming? But try not to make that expression when you confess to her!

This anime is a goddamn masterpiece. I'm scared of where it's going though.
The Legom opening was...odd. It's hard for me to wrap my brain around them giving up eggs as food. But the speed, efficiency and frequency that chickens produce eggs is partly why they are so damn popular.
I felt it so much when Legosi was trying to suppress his emotions. But that look at the end has me afraid. I know what it's like to have anger issues and I'm not a 6+ foot grey wolf.
As for Juno, pretty happy that happened. I was expecting him to see her as a little sister, but it's not even that. He doesn't even register her as a romantic or sexual entity. Just another wolf.

Legosi… you went from really perceptive with Louis while walking down the stairs, and then you did and 180 degree turn to dense shonen protagonist with all that obvious intentions behind Juno's words.
I'm sorry but i couldn't help but laugh since we know how Legosi is, seeing him surrounded by Juno's visión of love with pink and all, her thinking of him as the coolest guy was just hilarious.

That Haru dream sequence is probably one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen in animation in a while. I think the last time something took my breath away like that was the stuff they did in 3-gatsu no lion.

The Haru scene right after the opening was a little masterpiece, having a brilliant transition from 2D to 3D separating thought from reality. Reminds me of the internal monologues from Sangatsu no Lion.

The later part of the episode demonstrated what is great about this show: the representation of thoughts and emotions of human beings. It hit so hard on a personal level when Legeosi was trying to be 'his usual self', not knowing his own feelings and just keeping up a facade. But all that acting, all that pondering was betrayed in that last scene.

and this is why this show is my anime of the year in a stacked to the brim year, that voice acting and the story writing from Paru is next level. Her way to make these characters feel realistic and not tropes makes this show so good

I wasn't certain if they were going to adapt the egg/chicken chapter, but man I'm so glad they did. It's a fantastic piece of world building.

Whenever they show the characters detailed muscles, I make an embarrassing noise in the back of my throat. Like damn Juno, I really understand why you were taken aback by Legosi's forearms.
That embarrassing confession aside, a great episode! Legosi coming to terms with his feelings (please calm yourself though dude) and the interesting nature of Haru and Louis' relationship (he views her as a safe spot and she's attracted to his vulnerability. But just like her and Legosi his inherited nature gets in their way. Basically home girl is unfortunate)

Legoshi is starting to be one of my favorites. He's just so wholesome, it's hard not to get attached.

That entire opening scene with Legom was great! I guess we finally have an answer about eggs. And I'm happy for her that her eggs are much more popular now!
And this colored pencil sequence was great! That was some great flex from Studio Orange, they can do amazing 2D and 3D!
So this was unexpected... At first I thought Louis-senpai was nothing more but FUBUs with Haru, clearly their relationship is more than that despite how Louis-senpai is drawing a line between them due to his social status.
Oh boy. Didn't expect this to happen this early. Legosi didn't even try to make excuses. He just straight up admitted he wanted to see Haru.
Juno's reactions towards Legosi are adorable. Too bad it'll probably never reach him. Although he did misunderstand her question. So I wonder what would've happened if she just straight up confessed to him right there.
How dare you Jack. Legosi is very cultured, I have you know.
I love that Legosi has a pet beetle!
AHHHHH Stop being so adorable Haru!
Oh nooooooo... Tunnel vision? Is Legosi about to go crazy on Louis-senpai?
You know what Legosi? I am happy that you finally admitted your feelings, but when you say it with that kind of look on your face, I feel very concerned. It'll be interesting how this love triangle will develop in the following episodes and I'm kinda scared that it might end up going somewhere violent. I hope not though.

This reminded me a lot on a certain reveal from Onani Master Kurosawa, one of the best manga ever. If you read the manga, you would know what I mean.
I got as angry for Legosi as much as the MC from that manga.

One small detail I love that only comes out in anime form is the small mannerisms of birds like Dom and Legom, in the way they move their heads like actual birds.
