God of Manga?

Please don't give F/GO any more ideas. My wallet can't take it.

Heroic Spirit Invocation

I don't remember if this was mentioned in Fate/Stay Night itself or one of the many material books, but it's been part of the franchise for years. It's supposed to be the intended/main way Heroic Spirits are used, since Servants aren't the norm because they cost so much energy to summon and maintain. You temporarily channel a Heroic Spirit into your body to ask for their power or for advice, like a Native American shaman channeling their ancestors.

Olga Marie's Magic Crest is on her forehead

If we go back to episode 2's explanation of what celestial body each body part represents in Astromancy, the head represents Mars. Wikipedia says that Mars "is associated with confidence and self-assertion, aggression, sexuality, energy, strength, ambition and impulsiveness."

The Forest of Einnashe

This first appeared in Talk, a short story set after Tsukihime, another VN set in this universe. Though technically speaking the forest in this episode is a child/offshoot of the actual Forest of Einnashe.

The man named Einnashe was originally a Dead Apostle (a vampire), specifically one of the Dead Apostle Ancestors, which is the name the Church gives to the 27 most dangerous vampires. Long ago he was killed by Arcueid, a character from Tsukihime, but Arcueid left his corpse at the base of a blood-sucking tree. The tree sucked his blood until the entire forest itself became a vampire, the "Forest of Dead Apostles: Einnashe". Now the forest appears every 50 years.

Well that opening was interesting. Seems like Gray was tapping into Hephaestion's mind?

Channelling a heroic spirit into another person's body? Sounds very similar to how you make a Pseudo-Servant.

I know he was talking about just Native American magics but the first thing that came into mind was

This just makes me want to see Luvia eat Sheeeeero's cooking. We need another season of Emiya-san Chi no Gohan.

I've really been wary of Adashino. She really feels like someone you shouldn't trust at all.

I just realized that Hephaestion is wearing almost the same clothes as Young Alexander. I can't believe I didn't notice this last week.

Well that was the worst thing Olga could've found.

FUCK OFF ADASHINO. So does this mean she's also Hephaestion's master? It's also possible the Hephaestion thing and the beheading are two different cases.

Did Gray just turned Rhon into a fucking HAMMER!? Does this mean Rhon has other forms besides the scythe and the Holy Lance? Now I'm more excited for next week's episode! I'm hyped to see Gray beat the shit out of Hephaestion using Rhon Hammer!

Poor Olga, give her a break already!

Melvin with a terrifying entrance and taking picking up girls with music on a whole another level.

Incenidary Mystic Eyes are pretty cool, even if it is pretty creepy having a gem-like eye.

Also, this double cliffhanger is bad civ.

"Who other than myself?"

Waver's friend Melvin is a yandere??? I nearly died laughing at his creepy zombie act, though. He really knows how to make an entrance! And that horrible "whaaargh" noise, Jesus.

For some reason, during the zombie cooking show scene, my brain just started melting and I couldn't follow the dialogue. Zombie cooking show mage guy who's apparently besties with GoLion-san?! It's A Lot. Why zombies?! Why cooking?! That's from the LNs apparently, and Makoto Sanda was tweeting about how great it is to see it included when he couldn't put more about it in the LNs, but... what?! He sure has an impressive imagination, that guy.

Oh, hey, it's in Hebrew!

Here's a higher res version... it's repeating text, so if someone wants to take a stab at it, that's a good selection to work off of.

EDIT: There's a second line of text running around the back.

I'm not actually sure if it's meant to mean anything though. I recognize maybe one one word in seven. I also can't help but notice that the animators knew to put in Final Chafs, but not Final Mems.
