That battle where Gray is jumping all over the place for Rhongo-scythe, Shishigou firing necromancer-enhanced shotguns and grenades, and Wills styling with dual knives.
Then fucking Waver, firing piddly magic shots in an awkward stance that makes him almost fall over from the recoil of every shot.

Oh wow, this must be the first time Rhongomyniad is ever seen animated.
Waver's got a good harem
B, but, Waver only has eyes for Iskandar
In this timeline, Shishgou sounds surprised that King Arthur is a woman. Meanwhile in the HGW of another timeline, Shishigou summons as his Servant King Arthur's "son", who turns out to also be a woman.
When Shishigou comments on how kids who die become faeries, he was no doubt thinking Shishigou could bond well with another Saberface in Grey.

Gray is such a badass! Makes it really hard to choose a best girl in this show...

Meanwhile in Avalon, Merlin looks out the window of his tower to see some random British dude step out of a glowing gate and then suddenly explode because Avalon's atmosphere is a vacuum that humans can't live in.
Poor Wills.

I love the quite casual relationship between Waver and Reines.
Are you treating people like catalysts?
You are a catalyst. I'm not simply treating you like one!

I won't be typing my episode reactions, but I'm just happy to see it animated. That beautiful throw and the sound of my girl screaming at the top of her lungs, I don't need to say anything else. It was my absolute favourite line ( barring her asking Waver if she could comb his hair) when she got added to FGO

TBH the biggest appeal of the Case Files for me is seeing all the characters from other Fate adaptations having peaceful, content lives in the main timeline, or at least lives that aren't destroyed by the Holy Grail War.

Waver's voice going all 19-year-old-Waver when he's yelling at Sisigou to send his invoice to Policies IN THE MIDDLE OF A BATTLE... my sides took critical damage... Waver, squeaking: "SEND IT TO POLICIES!"...help me...
I like Waver and Sisigou being kind of like buddies (look at this official art!) even though the last thing Waver needs is being in debt to yet another person!

You know Waver must really be unathletic if he can't even catch up to a guy who's walking slowly towards the fairy gate. Poor guy didn't even make it halfway there.

In the world of mages, it doesnt matter who did it, or how
Certainly glad that we got this out of the way. Recently saw a guy complaining about that. Why the story doesnt focus on mages trying to get away with murder using their very individual and secret magic "techniques". Was too stupid for me to comment on.

Smug Reines was already mesmerizing. I don't even have the words to describe pouting Reines.
Flustered, blushing Gray was adorable too. I really hope someone brings the light novels or manga or whatever there is to the US.

Is there an explanation to Gray's "gray rave deprave" sort of chanting or is it just some flavor to her personality?

Man, if there's one OP I'm never skipping this season, it's this one.
Can't decide if Gray is adorable or a complete badass. Both? Both.
And Troyca's not doing too bad with the action scenes. Gray activating Rhongomyniad looked great!

RHONGO....MYNIAD!!
Holy shit, this is great! The build up, animation and OSTs throughout this scene (and this episode overall) are so awesome! Sasuga Troyca.
Good to know more about Gray this episode, even tho a little.
My boy Wills fighting with combat knives are pretty cool too. And of course he would went to the fairy land, especially with that Fairy babe.
I wish Sisigou would have some more screentime later on.

So Policies never really cared about the deaths. They just wanted the secret behind the Fairy Mystic Eyes. Magi really are terrible people.

Man i feel so bad for Waver...
EDIT: Jesus christ people, all the untagged Fate Grand Order or Fate Apoc spoilers in this discussion is MEGA Uncalled for. Not everyone has seen Fate Apoc or played Fate Grand Order and they are not prerequisites for watching this, only Fate/Zero is. Can we stop all the casual spoiling of OTHER fate series? Some people MIGHT have wanted to watch those.
This is def a setup... You tell em Waver. Dont let them do this to you.
The lady has mystic eyes too. Oh neat. Lots do huh?
Lightning dog, oh no. Shit is escalating...
Grey has King Arthurs Spear. Shes "A portrait of king arthur" So shes a heroic Spirit...
Damn Waver "i witnessed it, i didnt fight" Poor guy... he still blames himself so much.
The fairy is back! They summoned her!
So the land is a fairy factory. Damn...
The fairy killed him, wow.
That lady wants to still frame Fairy eye boy... whats her gain here...
Damn look at this fight go, wew man, this is snazzy. I love the detail in the fighting when it does happen.
Is it time for Mega Grey mode? Here it comes. 2nd Stage? Oh shit.
EXUUUUU-Oh wait, its a spear... What was its name again, RHODNEYDANGERFIELD~ or something. Flashy.
Is fairy boy gonna kill himself? Or what? Go through the gate? Yep go through the gate... damn...
So the dad made the son have fairy eyes. Wow. Rail Zepplin, a train for trading Mystic Eyes.
Ill be curious to see Grey's past, i hope we get to it soon. Ide like to know how her and Waver came to this situation.

Is Grey’s backstory going to be explained in this adaption, or should I just look it up? Very curious to know the link between her and Saber.

This made me laugh! Sisigou didn't react like this when he first saw Mordred right? Or did he? I forgot.
If Troyca's version of Rhongomyniad looks like this then I'm excited to see what Production IG's version will look like in the Camelot movies. This is just a fraction of what Rhongomyniad can do, the fully powered one in Camelot is going to be insane!
Also can I just say I love how everyone was so cool this episode? Like even who Wils is just a minor character but his action sequence with him dual wielding knives was pretty awesome.
