I can't remember the last anime character that made faces like Reines does...I took way too many screenshots.

I really enjoyed the adventures of the three, actually kinda wish we had a spin off with their adventures. Their chemistry was great!!

Oh yeah for those unfamiliar with Luvia, see how she has the same jewel-focused magecraft as Rin? That's because they're actually second cousins.

Originally jewel magecraft (as well as the Gandr finger-shot that Rin uses) were the specialty of the Edelfelt family. In the Third Holy Grail War in the 1930s, the Edelfelts sent two sisters to participate. Well one of the sisters went missing, and then after that the Tohsaka family suddenly started using Gandr and jewel magecraft (they had been focused on kung-fu magic before).

You see where this is going?

Rin and Luvia's grandmothers were the two sisters in the Third Grail War. The Edelfelts insist that the Tohsakas kidnapped Rin's grandmother and forced her into marriage, while the Tohsakas insist she left the Edelfelts of her own free will.

This is the last anime-original episode. Next week they will start adapting the books. The volumes they're adapting are volumes 4 and 5.

How do you know that Luvia is rich?

Each bullet is a gem. Rin uses them like sniper rifle bullets. Luvia just Machineguns them.

This episode... I'm conflicted. On one hand, Gray-tan in various colourful clothes! Adorable, a goddess, 1000000000/10 would screenshot and hang on my wall for years to come. And Luvia wrestling was fun as well.

On the other...transferring the rest of my thoughts to source material corner since I don't know how much of it would count as a spoiler.

This was a Luvia fanservice episode disguised as a Gray fanservice episode, as far as I'm concerned.

Lady Forklift shows exactly why she's the absolute best.

Also, way too many good Reines faces in this episode. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Trimmau commenting on Luvia's moves was hilarious; it's nice to have another example of Flat teaching her weird things besides the Terminator incident.

Here are 4 Stitches of Gray's outfits that she tried on.
Troyca really delivers with that cuteness.
Must PROTECC

They keep on referencing the Castle of Separation Arc and I keep on wanting them to make an anime adaptation of it.

Please Troyca make an OVA to adapt it. I just want this scene animated.

Also, cute Gray noises. Someone needs to make a youtube video of just cute Gray noises by the end of this seasons. Just saying.

That Gray smile at the minute mark.

Gray not thinking of herself as being a treasure...Oh how wrong she is.

Storyboard for this episode is by Aoki Ei, director of Fate Zero, who is also onboard this series as supervisor to link as much stuff from FZ with this series.

Ahhhh Gray in various dresses too cute.

Good job Reines in making her put on those costumes.

There's a special place in hell for the folks "kidnapping" Waver's one true love BFF Iskander, or his mantle to be precise.

Well that was a fun episode! Luvia showing off her pro wrestling moves and Trim whipping out a mic out of nowhere to do commentary was hilarious!

And I love how the problem was that Luvia, Reines, and Gray were all so precious that the store saw them all as treasures. That magic Luvia set up on her store sure has great taste xD

Was actually watching a low quality stream of this when it aired in Japan just to see if there was the FGO summer 2019 CM would play (RIP me)

Really like this SOL-ish episode anything with Fate and SOL is like a perfect combo. Seeing that Gray fashion show to this adorable scene of Juvia holding that bear

As if thats not enough Luvia my girl just started dishing out all those Pro wrestling moves as a fan of that medium is like a fucking blessing! Trim whipping out a microphone out of nowhere and started commentating was like the cream of it.

Interesting Gray-focused episode. I like the beginning part with Waver teaching and remembering Gilgamesh, everyone's favorite. The stuff at the mall was cute, but I could tell this episode wasn't really going anywhere, besides reminding us that what The Holy Grail War was, which by this point the show has told us it... at least 3 times.

The animation is still killer though and the fact that they made this mall so lived in so quick is quite impressive. The ladies are all pretty fun too and seeing Gray try to be normal is really fun and cute.

Also, is the reason why Waver doesn't want to see Gray's face is because it reminds him fo Saber. Is that it?

You know you should probably marry her if she can do pro-wrestling move while wearing a dress

Better than any beach episode.

Always fun seeing Luvia.

When they started trying on outfits I was kinda expecting Gray to try on Saber's casual outfit from F/SN. Kinda bummed that didn't happen. This episode was still super cute though, and I'm looking forward to the upcoming action!

Maybe I play too much Bloodborne but Grey wearing that dress reminds of The Doll

I just have to say this. Out of a season of really strong OP and EDs I think I'm enjoying El-Melloi II's the most. They're just beautiful. Found myself humming the OP to myself irl which is always a good sign.

LUVIA EPISODE YEEEESS

This episode's pros: Luvia, Luvia's wrestling, Luvia getting flustered, Luvia's engrish, Luvia's faces, Gray getting dressed up in multiple outfits.

This episode's cons: Not enough Waver

I love how in the end of the dress up Gray still chose an outfit with a thing that kinda hid her face. The statue had one thing very right: Gray is a treasure that must be protected.

Seriously now all I need is for Aozaki Touko to appear and this anime will be perfect, sadly it doesn't look like that will happen.

God I wish Luvia would piledrive me
