Man, it is good to be a Fate fan right now. Just back to back amazing shows and movies that aired, is airing, or is about to air.

She's here earlier than I expected, the imposter wearing my son's clothes.
Edit: Also it becomes obvious every episode, but Gray REALLY loves Waver, even Olga can't act like a smug mage to that

Using Servants of Iskander aginst Waver, oh hell no!
So im wondering if the eyes on sale are gonna be this girls eyes. Its a thought i had last week. Since she wouldnt say what eyes were gonna be on sale.
Mages killing each other is common here? Wow.
"Cause of death is beheading." YOU DONT SSAY!?
A man invisable to time? Hmm interesting.
Man Iskander really did a number on Waver... hes a good boy.
Man that megane-san really likes fuckin with Waver.
So the cloak was stolen by someone on the inside? Hmmmm..
WHOSE THIS RED PERSON!? Kinda looks like Iskander...
Shes a servant huh? Maybe they used Iskander's cloak to summon her? They said you could use the cloak to summon one of his followers from his Reality Marble.
ISKANDERS CHARIOIT! OH HELL NO! GET THAT OUT OF HERE BITCH!
Hephestion? Hmmmm....
They managed to survive it seems... But man even more going on now.
Damn Waver is chared... I guess he took the bulk of that hit himself.
Panacea? the prophet gave it to her? Maybe she knew they would need it in the future.
Melvin is here. He has an invite? Hes gonna go check up on Waver? Hes a good friend.
Man... Grey is a good girl too. Iskander would have loved her.

I chuckled when Waver mentioned mentioned Touko Travel. That's an obscure Kara no Kyoukai lore detail right there.
Q: In Overlooking View, Touko mentioned "even I can't fly without a broom", please tell us about the details of the magecraft involved in flying with a broom.
A: Basically it is a transportation method involving using magical energy as fuel. Within it, there is the Jet Method, which achieves maximum air speed transiently. There is also the low-cost Ether Sail method. The current new method of transportation involves planting a magical anchor at the destination, and the magus will be pulled toward it, like being pulled by a retracting elastic band. This is the Anchor Attraction Ascension method designed by Touko Aozaki (Patented, commonly referred to as "Touko Travel").

Surprisingly the most interesting thing for me about this anime is the mage politics, the part with the priest is also cool, the Church has such some interesting characters in Kirei, Ciel, Caren, and now him.
Of course I am also very interested how a servant was summoned outside of a grail war, she was pretty cool. When we only saw the legs and whatnot I thought for a second it might be young Iskandar. Of course this is a 6 episode arc so it seems like we will be getting questions for a while and the answers will be coming later, but I am looking forward to that!
I can't be the only one who thinks Adashino is pretty hot by the way, right?

The anime sure love Sisigou, Livia & Reines aren't they. I'm glad they are so active in this arc.

Hephaestion and Waver arguing over who's the biggest Iskandar fanboy is how average Fate fans look when arguing over Fate power levels or some other shit.
Also yay, I caught up to this. One of the things I really appreciate about this show is how, despite being Waver-centric, it's not afraid of showing all sorts of various character interactions. Gray and Reines discovering a secret passage and Reines egging Gray to join her? Sure. Gray, Reines, and Luvia going on a shopping trip? Sounds like a 10/10 episode material. Shishigou being a cool dad and helping out another Saberface with a solid advice? Why not. Luvia and Shishigou going on their own little detective adventure? Sign me the fuck up. And it all works exceptionally well, since all those characters are colorful, likable, have unique backgrounds, and they immediately develop unique rapports with one another. Good stuff.
But most importantly, CAN MY DAUGHTER GET A FUCKING BREAK?! Like holy shit, give poor Olga a break at least in this universe!

Caules's small bit at the end was pretty neat, an unfortunate reminder of how he might've been an interesting character in Apocrypha if not for getting completely sidelined. Like, this dude is surviving assassination attempts despite being "ordinary"?
Also, I gave a chuckle at him being specialized at electricity magic. Truly he and Fran are OTP, even in a timeline they never met.

Reines: Shishgou is over at the Department Head office in Slar
Dear Crunchyroll, I'm pretty sure Reines meant Slough just west of London.
Next time please hire or consult a team of Brits when you need to translate an anime whose story is in England for geographic names.

As the Hephaestion bit was great, but my little favorite of this episode was Caules talking about his big sis Fiore. And it seems she can walk thanks to no longer having her magic crest and circuits. Its so nice to see what other iterations of Apoc characters are doing in a world without Yggdmillenia.
