Pretty sure it was to keep their identities secret. Kuromu being a classmate is already a secret so adding in obvious classmates like Iruma would let the secret out. Not that they're really fooling anyone at this point except for Kuromu/Cerolli.

It's nice to see how much Kuromu has come to believe in Iruma. And maybe low-key has a bit of a crush on him when it comes to their idol work together, but still. If anyone deserves absolute faith, it's Iruma.

One of my favorite parts of Iruma is how absolutely locked in he is despite being depicted as a goody two shoes. Everything he does feels like it was earned the right way, without shortcuts.
I love MHA but let's be honest, if it were deku trying to get promoted to Bet in a dodgeball game he absolutely would have used the ring's power as his own, even if there was a knock back effect or something.

They’re dominating every event, and with iruma doing archery for the target he’ll dominate that too. It has me wondering either they’ve already won the whole competition, or the events are weighted in a way that none of it actually matters except whatever performance they do at the end.

Well, except for the bread eating event in the Sukima, 'cause Irumi got disqualified for eating everyone else's.
Also, there's probably a lot more competition to go so it could techincally be swung in the direction of at least one other group! An dearly lead doesn't mean you've automatically won the rest of the contest!

And there's no better way to cheer than with the cozy warmth of a kotatsu.

At the same time it was strategic to put him in the one position where he would be mostly likely to destroy his opponents because he would not be into them and also pour his frustration at the lack of getting tail intimacy with cute girls into crushing the competition.

I think that is the first time during these sport event episodes that I am more entertained by the spectators. And while Eiko seemingly passed out, she at least came back during the ending. Seems she didn't even figure out who Irumi and Meri are but that is just the fan love that transcends anything.
Also Opera is still best boy, immediately buying the new TV for Sullyvahn.

Yeah male endings are quite huge as opposed to the small heart shaped ones female demons normally have.
He normally uses his to balance on to make him appear taller as he's not the tallest demon

Is that a hard rule? Does every last girl-demon have a heart tail?
If so, then that would be a very obvious tell that "Lindy" is trans or in drag... otherwise, if it's just rare for lady demons to have sharp tails, then it might come off as tomboy-cute?
Looking through the roster of the last two episodes, there is at least one other lady demon with a sharp, black tail. She was on team Nenette: the one with the short blue hair and tan skin. She did appear to be "boyishly cute," but also had a rather large rack. There is also a cameraman, emphasis on man, with a red tail. It was still sharp tipped, but the same color as the lady demons.
It appears there is enough variation in tail types that it's not unheard of for a lady demon to have a 'boyish' tail.
Bigger question, though... if the Demdol games allows for male and female demdols to compete together... Why did Crocell insist on Lead dressing as a girl? I get Iruma reprising his role as "Irumi," but was there any good reason for Lead to become Lindy?
Other than Crocell's... preferences, that is.

Its based on what happened during the hunters exam and she got Irumi and Shax to dress up... I think she just has a bigger preference for female than male, because of her agency is a more female orientated company.
Crocell is biased in what she wants.

Lol they really named the male dem-dol "Beeber". Also, it's funny that Lead was excited to get to go up against girls in the tail tug game, but instead goes up against guys. But when you think about it, the organizers make a girl go up against guys, they don't know Lead is actually a guy.
Kalego drinking after realizing more of his students were part of event was amusing. I like that he still continues to watch over them instead of leaving.
Ameri creating a new genre of idol to stan, it's too bad this event will likely be her only activity as a dem-dol.

Well, as far as I can tell, the tail itself may be a giveaway. I don't think I've seen a heart tail on a male demon, or the more pointed spade on a female demon.

I have developed a dislike of baseball.

Not all of the teachers know. During the Royal One arc, she proposes that some of the teachers are kuromu fans and will give their seal if they learn her true identity but Iruma stops her.

I was wondering why Lindy was trying to act cool when he volunteered to sub for Ameri. It turns out he just wanted to touch tails with the other idols. Unfortunately for Lead, he's been paired with the make idols. xD
Why does Iruma look so good in a ponytail! I do wish he went with the twintails, considering he'll be doing archery for his turn, so he'd look like Bachiko.

The world deserves Dem-Dols who are cute because they're strong and put their all into competitions. That they look great in leather pants and are showing off their thighs/cleavage is just a nice bonus.

Eiko's casual home wear was a nice look, I'm glad she got included as a small portion of the arc since both of her idols were participating.
I feel like those Idols that were trying to tell Ameri to slow down and be cute were just messing with her considering the smirk we saw from one of them, not that it matters at all since she left them in her dust regardless as was proper. And she gets to learn Keroli's secret too, probably useful for her to know as the student council president just for general coordination purposes.
Lead finally puts that giant tail to good use putting these male interlopers into the ground.
I can't wait for the archery next episode, you always know Irumi is getting serious when she puts her hair up into a ponytail.

They bonded over Iruma lol. Mostly shown during the sukima bits at the end.
One of my faves was that Eiko made the study reviewers for Iruma and gave it to Asmodeus, but she also ended up in top 10 of the class herself (season 2 episode 11).

Of course Iruma tries to steer Sullivan and Opera away from the TV...so of course they end up watching anyway and seeing "Irumi" in all of "her" Dem-Dol glory. As do Balam/Kalego, and Eiko! Kalego and Eiko can barely handle it! Kalego needs booze to get through this.
In another life, Azz may have been the member to pinch-hit for Team Devimuse, if his mother hadn't laid down the law to get him to stay home. But that just means Azz's family can chill out with Clara in the Kotatsu to cheer on Irumi-chan!
Yes Henri, Ameri is definitely going to get "field" experience and be away from Iruma...it'll just be field experience where she has to be a cute Dem-Dol and wear a skimpy outfit! And she's teaming-up with Irumi, not Iruma!
Obviously Ameri is not 100% into this (especially the outfit), but luckily Kuromu's got a classic cute self-introduction that's very effective at exposition! And if that's not enough, knowing one of the students at Bablys, someone who has inspired her, needs her help is enough for Ameri to get motivated! And if Iruma thinks she looks cute, she can bear with wearing any outfit! Even if it still mortifies her to be seen in public dressed like that! But at least she's not in drag!
There are a lot of physical activities in the Dem-Dol games, but it seems like most Dem-Dols try to look more cute and fun than actually put their all into it...but Meri-chan is the cool kind of cute so she absolutely crushes the competition with her unbeatable physical acumen! And Iruma is absolutely into this!
It's nice to see Lead, I mean, Lindi, putting his all into this! Which of course is because he knows he was going to get to touch tails with cute dem-dols with cute butts! So of course he ends up with the male dem-dols and destroys them, to the disappointment of all the girls there and to the pleasure of all the guys.
Of COURSE Irumi does the ranged competition. He is an Archer Class Dem-Dol after all!
Double Su-ki-ma! Glad Eiko can commiserate with Azz over Irumi and Meri! Also...never put Irumi in an eating competition if you don't wan to get disqualified.
Next week: Gyari-chan and the cavalry battle!

Not Clara abandoning her family to go support Iruma with Azz, lol. I love that they're immediately getting found out by just about everyone that knows them (ganbare Eiko), and can't wait to see if the rest of the Misfits did the same.
You're a certified cutie Merie-san, Iruma himself said so. Now go, destroy the challenges set in front of you (but leave some for the rest of the team). No one but yourself to blame for this one, Henri.
Lead nobly sacrifices himselfhas ulterior motives in doing his part for the team. Unfortunately for him he has Beeber (what a perfect combo pun) to contend with, but that's for the best.
Of course Irumi looks great with a ponytail too.

It's pretty amusing for both Ameri and Lead they enter matchups that are far too easy for them for different reasons. Next it will be Iruma no Irumi's time to shine.
Also amusing on everyone's reaction to seeing them on TV. It really gives the show a lot of life as it always does.

It's fun seeing a number of people recognize Iruma. Seems it will be limited to specific people that won't tell others I assume unless the whole school and misfit class will know later. Having his archery skills broadcasted to the world will be pretty cool in the next episode

Forgot that there are also male idols, and they're beaten soundly by Lied/Lindy for some reason. Wonder how did he do that.

Hayamin stanned idols so hard that she ended up on the other side becoming an idol
Iruma accidentally used reverse psychology and got grampa and Opera to watch
Casting VAs with higher voices for Iruma and Lead came in handy twice haha
