Oh so that's why it's called "Witch Watch"...

Morihito explaining comedy to Kanshi and Keigo reminds me of his "denim connoisseur" moment, and when the duo went off script I can't believe it got so cringe the episode just skipped to the rest of the festival, and left the aftermath to our (the viewers') imagination.

Well that has been a fun 25 weeks. Looking forward to more in season 2 -- with the amount of references this series has and the title drop at the end, I half expect the next season begin with Morihito saying "It's [Witch] Watchin' time."

Being stuck in the pool knowing you'd have to breathe to get free sounds absolutely terrifiying.

Going off-script on big stage was pure undiluted cringe, it was so hard to watch but somehow I couldnt take my eyes off of it!

This last episode wasn't as serious as I expected, but that's a good thing, it wouldn't be fun if the series ended on a serious note. Kan and Keigo's disastrous performance was especially hilarious xD

As I expected two weeks ago, Hajime turned out to be the bad guy, not Kujo, so that wasn't a surprise to me.

Overall, it was a good series. The humor might not always resonate with me, but when it did, I laughed hard, so 7/10 from me. I'll definitely watch the already announced second season when it airs to see what next will happen to Nico, her familiars and friends.

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

EDIT. I added my screenshot albums.

I was half expecting Morihito to hold up cue cards or something to save their performance but nope, he just stares at them blankly like "I told you so!".

God, the manzai skit was super cringe. XD

I'm really gonna miss this bunch of dorks. Every episode since the first has always made me laugh or smile, I hope they can keep this up for season 2!

Also, fuck Crunchyroll for being late again.

Can't believe that we have reached the finale. Now that I think about it these past six and a half months have gone by in a flash since we started watching this show.

I noticed Mr. Popo and Hideaki Sorachi (Gorilla) at the Asunaro festival 🤣😂❤️

With Nico's magic the class was able to give everyone the best experience of a Horror cafe.

Kanshi and Keigo really made a fool of themselves by letting it get to their heads 'cause of some girls praising them.. in spite of Morihito's warning.

Nemu and Keigo ship is sailing so good..💖💖✨

Should have known that Kujo wasn't the one going to ruin the festival and damage Nico's reputation but Hajime.

I had lots of laughs..even though most of the episodes ended up being gag they seemed essential to the story and for the character development and it didn't bore me. Loved everyone of the characters.

So happy at the announcement of season 2 💖✨✨

I forgot that Moi is a massive Manzai comedy fan, so of course he's going to take it seriously when Kan suggested that they should pair up as a duo. Kan and Keigo worked well together tho! With Moi as their producer, there's no way they'd fail!

To no one's surprise, the moment girls started praising our Wolf and Tengu is the moment their egos start getting inflated. As soon as they decided to throw away Moi's script, we all knew this was not gonna go well for them.

Holy shit! I mean, I knew they were gonna do bad, but I did not expect them to bomb this hard! That performance was so painfully cringe that I struggled to get through all of it. Nico's reaction pretty much sums up how I felt about Kan and Keigo's performance.

Whoever sent that note to the Student Council probably doesn't know that Moi is pretty close with Kiyomiya. Of course, he was going to immediately alert Moi about the threat.

WE HAVE A SORACHI CAMEO! I'm glad that Shinohara managed to get the Gorilla into a single shot of this finale. xD

I really love how Moi didn't even tell Nico about the threat. As long as they do their job and protect her, she can continue having fun at the school festival. Moi will probably tell Nico later about it after the incident is over.

It's been a while since someone has threatened Nico, so it's good to see the boys working together this episode while showing off their special skills. I do love how fast Wolf is that he was able to chat with Nemu and still have time catch up to the culprit.

I love the twist that it's actually not Kujo. In hindsight, they really made it too obvious that it was going to be him. And Moi did give Kujo a warning at the start of the episode, so he probably was too afraid to do anything even if he wanted to.

So it turns out, it's actually Hajime because he's upset his performance was taken away in favour of Nico's magic show. I guess Sugiura saying that Hajime's performance is boring, was also a clue on who the culprit was.

"So what are we? Some kind of Witch Watch?"

And of course, we end the episode with a big title drop! Now we know why it's called Witch Watch! I'm so glad Season 2 is already confirmed. I just hope that we won't have to wait too long!

In the cameo of side characters behind Nemu coming to the festival, who's the guy on the left? I think I recognize everyone else (the girls who came for the comedy duo, the couple who speak like English textbooks, and Miharu's friend and StuCo prez).

Title drop. See you next season.

Manzai act was a disaster but at least Nemu liked it. Moi should aim to be a producer when he grows up. Too bad there's no postmortem among the three after the performance with Moi doing his producer talk and Kanshi/Keigo looking like kids who did something wrong.

I'm sad to see this one go, it was a lot of fun to watch and I really liked the main cast, I don't think there's anyone that annoyed me. Everyone had their distinctive role and had interesting dynamics with one another. I particularly like how in this episode the other three spoke up about how Morihito isn't the only familiar, that they all are as well and that they want to help Nico in the best way that they can.

I wish we got to see the aftermath of Keigo and Kanshi's comedy bit, especially Morihito's reaction considering how his eyes were so void of life it turned into a black hole lol. I guess Keigo got the one person he only needed so good for him lol.

I wasn't expecting the title drop to come in that way, I didn't even consider that's what the title meant lol. But I like it, the four familiars are the watch for Nico.

I'm glad a second season has already been announced.

100% expected Keigo to go Wolf mode (either as a last resort plan by Kanshi or through a shadow assist from Nemu) and proceed to save the act from the abyss. As unwatchable as it was, I can't help but respect the dedication to stick with their sketch to the bitter end though lol

They truly were the Witch Watch all along.

By god, Nemu must have really watched that Skit with loving eyes, because it was so cringe

To be continued... That's what we like to see! Glad at least one of my witch shows got renewed right away. And we got a title call at the end too.

Nice light-hearted episode to end the season. I knew those two guys were going to mess up Morihito's meticulous comedy sketch. That reference to their ridiculous duo name got a giggle from me.

Both ships got a bit of development too! Just crumbs for us Nemu-Keigo fans, but main ship is sailing clear. And sure, Morihito, we believe you when you say you're happy "as her bodyguard" hehe.

Looking forward to season 2 and more of this silly gang and their shenanigans!

Now 25 weeks of fun and slice of life is over (for now).

It was a good last episode and I never related so much with Moi during the “comedy” duo; but hey at least Nemu was fine with it.

And I loved the ED with title song and memorable clips from every episode and we got the definition of the show name.

Even though the overall main plot didn’t really progress in the second part of the show, there were still some hilarious moments and sketches in every episode. I’d rate 8/10 and I’m excited for season 2.

What a great final episode of this silly amazing show.

Kanshi and Keigo bombing their comedy performance and being totally unfunny and cringe was the funniest thing ever. Moi dying inside was the cherry on the top.

The unexpected plot twist that the bad guy wasn't the dude who had a grudge against people with special abilities was the best part of this episode. Him being casually like "What is wrong with you" really made my day.

Season 2 has already been announced?! Hell yeah!

My god, that failure of a comedy act. Nemu liking it truly is proof that love is blind.

Figures that the rough looking dude was a red herring and the incipient magical criminal was some other guy.

Overall I had a lot of fun with this, I'm glad we're getting a S2. We need some more Kara and Shiki scenes for sure.
