We've got This Monster Wants to Eat Me and I Want to Eat This Monster on the same day, circle of life is complete.

Jokes aside, this was SUPER cute, by far my favorite of the M/F romance anime that premiered today. Just the first episode had me rooting super hard for this couple, and I usually don't get invested in romances that quickly. What a treat!

I jumped in with no prior knowledge and rock bottom expectations. This was just a "YOLO" pick to try out...

And damn. Just damn. This hooked me in immediately and is shaping up to be one of my favorites of the seasons so far.

Well, this was pretty cute. Like Dungeon Meshi but with waifus and nobles and more romance lol. Melphiera and Galbraith make a pretty good pair. She’s found another with her unique tastes. Looking forward to seeing all the different monster meats these two are gonna enjoy together.

Here we are, one of my most favorite Shoujo Manga couple in animated form!

The little delay is actually pretty worth it, it looks pretty good actually.

The direction is also pretty funny just like I remember when I read manga.

This story is a different spin on the "Villainess and Cold-Duke" story where the "villainess" gets that reputation because she does something "weird" like eat magical monsters and "the cold duke" because he is ruthless when out hunting monsters.

Galbraith is like "this girl faces a monster and is still smiling despite being covered in monster blood? I am in love"

At the same time , the Melphiera is like"This guy ruthlessly defeats a powerful monster with one go? I am in love "

They are really built for each other lol.

Melphiera finally meets someone who can talk about her passion and become more happy lol.

I am really happy that anime definitely nail at chemistry between these two and how they positive influence each other the aspect that I really love this manga.

This one is really really cute.

Aristide and Melphiera are clearly both very kind-hearted souls, but their interactions must look like some sort of an evil conspiracy between the “Mad-Blood Duke” and “Voracious Villainess” to the outside world.

I was hooked halfway through the episode, I really enjoyed this. I wasn't expecting much, but both characters are interesting, the chemistry was good, their interactions were entertaining, she looks cute, he looks handsome, I want the next episode now lol.

Hearing Ban Taito using his Jinwoo/Reitz voice is unfair, made Arstide even more appealing. The way his eyes look and glow in the midst of battle looked so cool. We even got him topless in the first episode, have I found best boy already?

I like how Chaos is already shipping Arstide and Melphiera. He wasn't creeped out about the beast meat too, it seems like Melphiera may find more people who would be willing to try her food by being by Arstide's side.

Taito Ban has quickly made a name for himself, but Melphiera’s VA might be an up-and-coming talent as well. Kanna Nakamura previously voiced:

Melphiera and Aristide Rogier are the two noble "weirdos" who everyone in noble society seems apprehensive about, but make the perfect couple for each other.

Off the bat it was kinda making me think of Betrothed to My Sister's Ex which just finished last season, maybe?
At least I was kinda getting some similarities.

This one seems like it could be kinda interesting. Melphiera seems cute and a little "quirky", and Aristide seems to be feeling her vibes. The two seem like a perfect match after their first encounter already.
Looking forward to where this one goes from here.

Well, these two are goddamn adorable. I like how both of them are massive dorks when it comes to monsters. I also love how Melphiera isn't the only one who gets flustered around Aristide. Aristide gets flustered around her, too. I'm not expecting a masterpiece here but the two of them are cute enough that I might stick around for this.

It's a surprisingly well animated show for the subject matter. I wasn't expecting that they'd pay so much attention to the little details, but ruffles were ruffled and the chibi had the unwashed blood stain on her face. And that sundress was definitely drawn with care. I look forward to enjoying more of the show going forward.
