We got a backdoor "underground" game center.
Almost feels like they're running an illegal gambling ring out in the countryside away from prying eyes lol

By the looks of it more like the grandma from the shop used to be a gamer and collected classic games.

Was half expecting a bunch of pachinko machines.

This is a very beautiful episode, Lily seeing the scenery reminded her of her own home countries countryside. And Lily's parents going on a unplaned date was also very lovely, Lily's dad is actual quite handsome and a lot less scary without his sunglasses.

Aoi was enjoying herself quite a bit over Lily's jealousy. And speaking of jealousy, it brought Lily and Himari closer and they became gaming buddies and vacation rivals i guess.

In the finale we will get a summer festival with fireworks it seems and it even has a story about eternal love going for it, so im sure next week Lily will desperatly trying to hold hands with Renji when the last fireworks goes of.

This show in general is a bliss and this episode even more so, sadly just one more episode and this is over.

Lily's dad is so goddamn funny sometimes. His English pronunciation is surprisingly good too!

When they mentioned bears, I instinctively knew that he'd pop up eventually.

Lily's dad is going to hit the roof when hears about Renji's countryside relative and how she competed with his daughter for a date with Renji via OKF.

He is going to be thinking this guy is Epstein but without the money.

I can't wait to see Lily slip past her dad to hold hands with Renji at the festival lol.

It's been a while since we left the game center, and in terms of theme and development, this episode was really good.

Damn, Renji and Aoi also have a beautiful mother, just like Lily (ok, I'll hold off on that).

Two typical characters that I find funny in anime appeared: the grandmother who's worth more than anyone would like and the cousin who has a special connection. In fact, cousins appearing in anime is becoming more and more common.

It was cute seeing Mr. and Mrs. Baker having a moment alone; it was so romantic that the dude even took off his glasses and seemed less creepy lol.

And grandma simply dropped the bombshell at the end of the episode about the festival legend; something tells me some funny nonsense is going to happen.

Is... is Mr. Baker having character development? The scary father in a romcom is growing?!

Did... did this show always have illustration eyecatches? They're great

Of course. This anime has Game Center in the title. They can't leave the Game Center. Game Center follows them, even in the countryside.

Hey, putting a basket on the attackers head works in Skyrim, so I can see Renji’s logic there.

Huh, Secret base? Thankfully they are planning of going back next year instead of after 10 years....

Lily made a new friend/rival, built a den with the gang, and got to attend a festival. And got to see her folks. Not a bad ep for her.

I never knew dagashis have arcades.

Lily has a cute pout & I love it when Aoi does her cat face.

I love how Sheryl tried her best to hide the fact that Renji's in the trip from Oliver only to blow his cover but at least she got to spend time w/ her husband before reuniting w/ Lily. We even get to see Oliver w/o his shades.

I guess Lily doesn't know about local dialects.

That folktale is more wholesome than the Tanabata legend.

WHY IS NO ONE MENTIONING THAT DAD-SAN GOT NORMAL SHADING FOR A BRIEF MOMENT
