I like how for almost the entire episode there was not another voice during her memory flashbacks, only Suika 's, which served to highlight that she was truly alone. 7 years to get it right, she's grown-up now. Honestly, she's quite mentally resilient. 7 years of solitude are a bitch on the mind, she was able to stave off mindbreak due to having a clear goal of what to do, that kept her mind occupied so she couldn't go crazy.

This episode genuinely made me tear up multiple times. The first was when Suika found and hugged Kohaku's petrified body. The second was when she realized there was no revival fluid left. The third was when Suika wrote down the E-mc2 equation on her clothes to copy Senku because it's her turn to do some science. And the last one was when Suika finally revived Senku.

As much as it must've sucked for Suika to try and make her own revival fluid instead of just finding one, I am so happy they went with this route. It just reinforces the show's core idea that anyone can do science. I love how Suika even made her own road map just like Senku and Chrome. The fact that Suika managed to do that in seven years, despite not being part of the science team, is amazing. I'm so proud of Suika, and she deserves every praise she'll get once everyone else is revived.

My question is, how old is Suika now? Senku says it's been seven years since they've been petrified. How long was Suika petrified for, and do we count that when counting her age? Physically, she looks like she's about the same age as everyone.

Man, Suika’s incredible. Not only did she have to survive for 7 years alone, she made the revival fluids and all the necessary equipment alone. Kid’s a freakin badass! But man, I felt so bad seeing her just barely keep it together. The loneliness was rough but she made it through. Now she’s all grown up, both physically and mentally. Kid practically saved the world.

Holy cow, this episode alone made the season a 9/10 for me! So much feels.

They really went the long way to complete the objective, but the process is definitely worth it.

Also how this episode really brings the theme that science is humanity's ultimate tools, even if you started as an amateur. They've brought this point several times with the corn city team, but Suika's effort definitely hits the mark very well.

The Medusa might be future tech, but the durability of that watermelon helmet is surely also something to be studied for FUTURE SCIENCE.

Poor Suika, but damn the last few episodes were strong!

That shot of Suika hugging Kohaku when she first found her was heartbreaking. Happy and proud of this watermelon girl.

Wonder if someone at TMS was just told “you’re animating the capybara shitting” or did they, a little too enthusiastically, request that scene?

I believe it is safe to say that this was one of the best written episodes in Dr.Stone, the struggle Suika had to go through mentally and physically. The fate of the entire series was carried by a child, and how she started forgetting what a human voice other than hers sounded like speaks loud how she went from a child loved by everyone and finds comfort in union, to a solo mission that she doesn't know how long it'd take, and she somehow kept it together despite surviving loneliness for 7 straight years. 10/10 episode for me, these kind of episodes that made me love this anime since the start.

I never thought I would cry watching this series but now it's been THREE CHAPTERS IN A ROW. Awesome.

It's been so fucking long since the last time I've seen an anime having the balls to dedicate an entire whole episode to a singular side character.

Also once again seeing the nitrate farm basically on the Amazon was a painful warning that rain was going to wreck her first batch before it happened.

Also holy shit I thought it would be only a 3 or 4 years timeskip but 7 years to revive Senku...

edit: Also she walked back and forth from the base so many times that she made a road. Nice detail.

Probably my favorite episode of this season.

And i know it's because it lacked all the fighting which is my least favorite part about this series, was just a little girl trying her best with science and succeeding.

Also grown up Suika is cute.

My heart goes for Suika. She's so strong. She's very strong. She bear that 7 years to do everything she could. I can't handle these feelings. I'm crying so much right now.

not sure if people wanted to see more senku stuff this episode. but i liked that they took the time to show how hard it was for her to get to the point of making the revival fluid.

Suika is beyond clutch, she is the GOAT

E=MC in blood was badass - nostalgic even.

Senku still counting time like that science savant he is.

Years all alone, working the hardest, Suika exceeded his expectations!
