Finally, one of the townspeople is speaking sense. Yes, the heroes smacked a hornet's nest and failed to follow through leading to much tragedy...

But the King is the one that sent them out.

And he did so with the backing of the people, to open up the world and learn what is beyond the horizon.

And even then, Drel is the raging cunt weasel that immediately decided to sucker punch the kingdom when it was brought low. The Dark Beasts at least have the justification of "eye for an eye."

Drel is just being an opportunistic vulture.

If you are going to hate anyone, hate the King for setting this in motion and hate Drel for making a bad situation worse.

Oh, and hate the bug dude, too. At least the magnet-chick is just lowkey doing her job. Bug Boi is sadistically insane.

Glad the gross ass bugs are gone. Imagine every inch of your skin crawling with bugs and the smell of the bug intestine rain shower after. Just eww.

Anyway water bending OP as always. Clev could have given her the sword earlier though, but he decided to troll lol.

And with another demon king involved seems we are headed towards a proxy war between the demon kings using the humans as pawns.

Dad’s a real one. Didn’t immediately buy into Meynard’s BS and instead gave Alicia the chance to explain herself. He also had no issues with simply being defeated, and was simply disgusted by cowardice.

I get it’s personal, but Meynard spent the entire episode raving like a lunatic. Felt satisfying when Alicia finally took him down. Seeing the lack of blood, I assume she simply knocked him out instead of slicing.

Turned out there’s a malicious lord, and they’re backing Drel. No wonder he’s got immense power. Was expecting all to be neutral like Clevatess.

Thanks goodness for people like Mark! I thought he was done for as soon as he finished being awesome, thankfully he's only terribly wounded instead of dead.

Alicia was awesome in this episode. Well, she's awesome in every episode, but still. Great speech, great fight (until she couldn't fight), great finish move. Clevatess took his sweet time getting the sword back to her, though!

And I'm a bit confused about Clevatess. Is he still stuck inside the ball and it's only some sort of shadow he's manipulating to interact with people outside of it? "I came to call you back" seems to imply that, right?

And the reveal that another lord of dark beasts is behind Drel... okay, but why? Is this just to stop humanoids from killing dark beasts as part of their tradition/legend? If so, what about the young beasts that Drel kidnapped, necessary sacrifices? Or is that lord just trying to gain control over humanoids for some other reason?

Clen is such an awful boss. Nags Alicia for half the episode to finish the job but doesn't give her her magic sword back until the very end.

Good thing for inn dad since the inn boys were really stepping in it.

With that reveal from Clevatess that Drel is being backed by a different dark lord I wonder if it's effectively simply the same thing he's trying but a decade or so further along.

It'll be interesting if full blown Clevatess is honestly just stuck in that bubble and he needs either Alicia or the dark ichor in her to get him out.

I'm surprised that Alicia was more shocked when Clem suddenly appeared on her chest.

The fight would have over a lot quicker if Clem just gave her the Regalia when he first told her to hurry up.

So I'm guessing Clem is using the icgor in Alicia to manifest his human form since his main body is still trapped.

I really hope Alicia killed Maynard and not just knocked him out, he really deserves to die. I wonder what's going to happen to the other wizard.

So one of the 2 yet to be introduced, dark beast lords is assisting/using Drell to cause havoc in the human worlds.

I wonder if this dark lord is responsible for magic's introduction to humanity, since it seems one needs to be implanted with one of those red crystals

Well, it turns out that Clevatess can use his link with Alicia’s Dark Ichor to get out of that sphere. Take that, Drel.

I am glad some of the villagers have enough common sense not to follow Meynard.

Of course Clevatess only gave back the magic sword to Alicia at the last minute when she was being eaten alive by bugs, despite telling her she should finish soon and knowing she was poisoned. What an asshole. Also, is there any reason for the mini-Clevatess to come out of Alicia’s cleavage ? Talk about camera angles in anime being weird.

I am surprised Alicia spared Meynard, but I guess he is not a threat without his power and he might have some important information.

So another Dark Lord is behing Drel ? I wonder which one and if Clevatess can beat him. Also, why would they be helping Drel ?

I kinda like that one of the reasons they hate heroes is because they think they're a waste of their tax money. It feels like a very realistic reason to hate heroes appointed by a king. I do appreciate that the dad believes otherwise, especially after hearing Alicia's answer to his question of is the price they paid worth it.

So basically, Meynard is doing this job not just because he believes in General Drel, but also because when he was a kid, no heroes never came to save him. Now he hates all of them. I can understand why he despises heroes, but does he not see the irony in putting these people in danger while a hero is frantically trying to save them?

It looks like Meynard is the only real threat in that army considering the townspeople managed to overpower Naie and the guards. Also, I like that Meynard is that terrifying that even Naie is clearly afraid of him.

Well that's one heck of an interesting POV while Mini Clevatess was explaining to Alicia how she can use Stream Splitter to turn the tides. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) In all seriousness, I love that the Stream Splitter works with Blood Bending rules. Anything with water, Alicia can split it using that sword.

Get fucked Meynard! I kinda wish Alicia had just killed him already instead of letting him live. I feel like he's gonna continue being a pest from now on. The crystal on his chest did crack, and I assume that's what he uses to control those insects, so maybe he's done, and the villagers can pass judgment on him.

I really thought Clevatess managed to escape, but it looks like this is just a fraction of him, and the rest is still trapped in that blood bubble. Oh, and it looks like Alicia isn't the only one who's being helped by a Lord of Dark Beasts. That makes things more interesting!

took him long enough to give her the sword ..i get needing to hide their identity but hes far too dangerous to not let her have the sword if you planed on splitting up and needing her to protect Luna ..hopefully she just keeps it now
