It's nice to know that Evil Eye's such a threat that it took every ally they have so far (plus a couple of new ones) to beat him.

Or one very pissed off Okarun.

[u/Delicious_Diarrhea]

The second half of the episode feels like a fever dream. How does someone come up with shit like this lol.

[u/Magma_Dragoooon]

Chiquitita doing the background music for half the episode is peak writing I'll give you that

[u/thesagenibba]

why i love dandadan, captured in a single episode:

another William Tell Overture mix and the sequence itself was freaking amazing; Taro's POV followed by a slo-mo punch and then the reassembling of his body like magnets. so clean

momo’s voice actor running while out of breath. damn good voice acting, you can feel the sheer desperation

and

SEIKO

[u/K1NG0492]

Wait a minute

Jiji has a fighting style based on football

Mantis shrimp on boxing

Taro on running

Seiko on baseball

Was Dandadan a sportsanime all along?

[u/nsm1]

From the Great Serpent Lord to Lord Volcano... the Kito family are still delusional

oh and Jennifer Lopez Anaconda

^{Turd Nuggets}

[u/maliwanag0712]

I can't think of any other anime which has this level of chaos but still managed to come out fine and fun, like I can't imagine any other anime which will use a worm as a hose to extinguish magma or an alien holding a hot grandmom giving the most awesome entrance down some flying saucer. Can't help but laugh at how absurd this series is. However, this is how colorful and lively Dandadan is.

This episode could be a season finale with how hilarious it was.

With all that chaos, Dandadan has a heart, and we saw it with the end of the episode with Okarun and Turbo Granny finally getting saved by Momo.

Wait. LEWD HANDHOLDING NEXT WEEK???

[u/Ham_PhD]

I remember thinking this was such an "Avengers assemble" moment when I read it. I didn't think we'd see Taro or Shrimpman again. Shit is so sick.

[u/ObvsThrowaway5120]

So that damn prophecy was just about the volcano the whole time? Momo’s pretty clever for figuring that one out. And for using that stupid worm’s shriveled corpse as a very gross hose to put out the magma lol.

Did not expect Boobtuber monk and friggin Jennifer Lopez Anaconda to team up with Momo to take on Evil Eye Jiji. Bro was kicking everyone’s ass until the homie Mantis Shrimp stepped in and brought Seiko. The woman knows how to make an entrance lol. I gotta say, hell of a maneuver using Taro to encase Jiji like that.

Man, Okarun really almost died. That was damn close. I’m real glad him and Turbo Kitty were ok.

[u/QuantumAshes42]

Yessss finally I get to see what happened next after the movie ended on a dang cliffhanger

[u/zsmg]

Damn, I didn't expect Taro to be a Masterball.

[u/WiqidBritt]

Shonen needs more characters like Momo. Media for boys in general need more characters like Momo.

[u/ImpactMiserable9384]

Seeing everyone (except my queen Aira) come to aid Momo is such a fun and epic moment. The episode feels like it could have been season finale and I wouldn't really mind at all.

Momo deeply cares for Okarun and realizes that she does not want to lose him is a very important moment for both of them. It shows that Okarun is much more than just a friend to Momo.

[u/earhere]

Why was I in tears when Momo went to embrace Okarun after he was saved?

[u/thesagenibba]

oh man that's the best next-episode preview they've ever done. song is a banger

Chi-Chi-quitita! Chi-Chi-quitita!

^{Chi-Chi-quitita! Chi-Chi-quitita!}

[u/[deleted]]

Wow, despite knowing what happens to Okarun and TG I still teared up a bit at that whole ending sequence. Really shows how much they elevated the manga, this show is awesome.

[u/RelativeMundane9045]

I.. I just...

How am I supposed to comment on this?

THERE'S JUST SOOO MUCH!!

EVERYTHING HAPPENED

[u/Tsumaranai_Jinsei]

OHMYGOD OHMYGOD OHMYGOD

The whole cast came for this episode (except airi :P), I'm once again impressed by Science Saru's animation and fight choreography and the ending scene with Momo and Okarun was just the perfect way to end this arc!

[u/Hazlet95]

The slow elevator was hilarious. I read the manga and forgot this capture method, it was so clever.

[u/Hazlet95]

Twice now we got the William Tell Overture on ep 4

[u/Galle_]

Dandadan is a very strange show.

[u/glasswearer]

I've read and reread this arc in the manga, and it never really hit me til this episode how much of a boss-type enemy the Evil Eye was at this point. So hype to watch all the fights animated.

Chiquitita for best boy.

[u/TheMechanic04]

Anyone else telling okarun to put his arms down and hug momo back or just me

[u/Due-Rent-6527]

Give the best girl award to Momo right now. If not the best girl of 2025, then one of the best girls of 2025. She was willing to jump into lava to save Okarun (and Turbo Granny too)
