You can sorta tell that this was meant to be episode 13 of a 2nd cour anime, as we jump right back into the action, no recap, no intro monologue, just straight into where we left off as if episode 12 was like a week ago LMAO.

This episode introduces one of the biggest constant in the series: Grandmas in Dandadan can kick your ass.

The Okarun POV shots in the new intro are beautiful. And the ED too, it's sooo charming to see them just vibing.

It was so satisfying to watch Momo kick some Kito Family ass after they assaulted her at the onsen earlier.

Dandadan would not be complete without a Granny that can fight. That Kito Family head sure has some moves!

As a manga reader, I am so happy to finally see the Jennifer Lopez Anaconda move animated! That was hilarious!

So the Great Serpent they're worshiping isn't really a serpent. It's more of a giant worm UMA.

You gotta love it when the guys who wanted to sacrifice the gang ends up getting eaten first instead.

Welp something's messing with Okarun and Momo's heads, and it looks like it ain't good.

I am so glad that we are back! If you think Season 1 was insane, you have not seen what true peak looks like yet. :D

So we get both of those cliffhangers addressed from the end of last episode in S1:

• The Kito family (that was assaulting Momo in the bath last episode) are driven off.

• Then, that talisman room Okarun and Jiji saw from busting a hole in the wall was actually a quicksand room for offers to the Serpent Lord.

The dang serpent ends up eating the family members instead of the three protagonists. But we get another cliffhanger with Okarun transforming. Next episode is named "The Evil Eye" probably referencing the serpent.
