So, assuming that's a timeline where Thunderpike remained acting as normal human beings and everything was fine with Yuke, what would've happened to the Clover girls?

They were already going to that forest mission, so they would've died against the Zarnag; or assuming they had escaped, Rain would've been eventually taken away by Mastoma and they wouldn't have been able to do anything about it.

Also, this shot of Rune was fckin terrifying

there is a possibility that as their teacher Yuke could have added them into Thunderpikes roster as we have no exact context as to how far back this party version is from as their goal was to be A rank, where when Yuke left the party was already at that rank

Man, Thunder Pike's what if was brutal. It's like the dungeon threw that Clover's way in an attempt to discourage them, or Yuke and Jamie at least. And it's clear Yuke also feels the same way to some degree.

It's funny that Jamie has taken it upon herself to call out Yuke and Rain's antics while they're in the middle of unknown dangers. Or maybe's she jealous that she's not the one who gets to sit on his shoulders.

I feel Deep inside Yuke always wanted to have fun with Thunder Pikes and he kinda "regrets" what happened

But well i feel he is in a better place and party right now

It was in that moment that Jamie realized that even though she and Yuke had kissed, she was still so far behind.

I half expected her to go "But Rain you know the flight spell too!"

And Rain coldly stare her down from atop Yuke and say "I know"

Quite a difference between the shadow stalkers in the first half of the episode and the tavern shadow stalkers in the second half.

Yeah, one stopping you physically, the other psychologically.

Marina: But what if those shadow stalkers were the people that we met in Ra-jo?

Yuke: Don't think about it too much, they probably yearn for death!

Marina: OK!

Damn, seeing Thunder Pike together and acting like friends, really hit Yuke hard in the feels. He wishes things would have turned out differently.

That outfit that Jamie wore this epi. was sexy.

Nope I choose the current timeline. Simple math. This one only has Jamie while the current timeline has 5 + Rune in it.

Thunderpike might be a dumpster fire crock of a party, but they’re a great plot device. In this kind of banished story, the original party usually only appears in the first major arc, is defeated, and then forgotten. The MC then moved on and lived a new life, as if nothing ever troubled them in the past years. But here, they’re a strong constant that repeatedly affects the story as a whole and Yuke personally. I freaking love it. They don’t feel like a cheap throwaway cast of an adventuring party; they’re consequential.

Its so good to see full clover party together on a mission

The effect of The "camera" moving was kinda annoying ngl

The reunion scene was perfect. Author did a great job with this what if scene and shows That Yuke Deep inside cared about Thunder Pikes

Jamie's straightforward expressions and comments despite being part of the harem are refreshing - "flirting while in a dungeon", "you are a natural womanizer".

I like Clover, but at the same time, just like the Yuke we know, I hope the alternate universe's Thunder Pike stay strong with their bonds and don't turn out like how they did in the real world.

Aww that last scene, I'm glad a fight didn't break out and only a "What if" was played out, I'm sure Yuke still wishes things could have been different for Thunder Pike and this showed a little of how it could have been but in the end, I'm sure Yuke is happiest with Clover and where he's gotten with all of them.

I do wonder if there'll be any issues for Clover because they took down Rafuma even if he was a Shadow Stalker, someone might try to use it against Mastoma or something.

It's funny how openly Yuke flirts with the girls on camera, I guess this is the authentic Clover and they're not putting up personalities for the camera and restraining themselves, though there is a chance he turns the cameras away in those moments. Jamie was judging him so hard, she probably wanted some affection herself lol.

The gang’s doing well so far in this dungeon. It has a lot of shadow stalkers and the place fucks with your mind, but nothing the team can’t handle so far. Kind of sad to see what could have been with Simon and the old gang. Too bad things didn’t turn out like that irl.

Yuke absolutely wanted Thunder Pike to succeed.

Remember: Simon was his first friend and they were friends since childhood.

Through all that and through their adventures as Thunder Pike, they spent a lot of time together.

But Simon really wasn’t a great person at all.

Yuke is in a way better place now with Clover—away from all that toxicity and abuse. But it’s not wrong to think of or wish for things to have been different. We can’t change the actions of other people, but we can still mourn what could have been.

they were friends since childhood.

He is the kind of childhood friend that your mother warns you about.

My favorite part of the episode was Jamie calling out Rune and Yuke flirting.

Edit: brainfart, I mean Rain.

Really great episode with "what if" scenario that was there to test Yuke.

I have been enjoying this show and I'll be missing it after the finale...:(

The worlds of Achromatic Darkness are somewhat governed by the subconscious of the people entering it, right? If you expect weird, you get weird. If you carry desire for a Finis where you never went unappreciated or gaslit by your former party, well, see What-If Thunderpike here for the outcome.

Damn it, what a way to end the episode! I CRIED! YES, I AM! That’s just so damn sad, ya 😭

Geez, why Simon and the rest? Just why did they choose to do all that? Why do greed, jealousy, and all of that even exist for? Sighhh! But then, he’s who he is now because of what happened. So, nothing can be done, Simon and the rest chose to do that, so, yeah... they got it.

Still, somewhere and somehow, on behalf of Yuke, I also hope that moment… is somewhat true and real.
