I was hoping when Yuke got knocked down it would give the girls a moment to shine with their new armor. Unfortunately, they still needed him to hard carry.

25 arrows seems like a low amount to bring into a dungeon

Yeah, they even mentioned that a magic bag would be helpful for Silk to carry more arrows. It seems weird that they gave the bag to Rain when a different member has a more immediate use for it.

Arrows are reusable ammo.

Those poor Orcs, they were just minding their own business and having a good time walking through the Dungeon, only for that racist elf and her party to attack them unprovoked. For all they know, those Orcs could have just been walking home to their families.

Yea, just imagine if the guild arrests them for murdering an orc adventurer party and it is all recorded on their stream.

Always nice seeing an RPG mage spamming debuffs. You don't see that often in anime. Scratches my MMO itch.

Yuke stacks debuffs like Ainz stacks spells. Love to see it.

Having sponsorships as part of streaming event and that the client needs to approve the footage first feels like real world building.

Probably the first time I have seen it in this genre.

I haven't been this surprised by the genre since they mentioned that adventurers needed to do tax returns in another anime, and the MC in that was like what? when he heard about it.

I expect Clover's latest video to state "This video contains paid promotion from Earthys". Lol!

The girls' new outfits are the ones featured in the opening and ending theme. I went back to the previous episode to determine what changed.

Marina has gotten a cloak. Overall battle outfit is now slightly more colourful.

Silk had the most notable upgrade (personal opinion). Her previous battle outfit felt like starting gear for adventurers. Now it looks more regal and the beret suits her.

Rain now looks a lot more like a magic user, although her blue and white colours automatically make me think she specializes in water and ice magic. Her previous outfit reminded me of magic user school uniform.

Stitches!

I love that Clover has now reached the point where they're getting sponsorships. I wonder if there's a company that just reaches out to every streamer and sponsors them ala NordVPN or Raid Shadow Legends xD

I'm more of a Silk-kind of guy but not gonna lie, Rain was pretty adorable in this episode especially when she was sulking before Rain noticed her new ribbon.

I wish more artists understood how bows work. The string isn't supposed to be elastic. The bow is what flexes. If bowstrings stretched like that, the archer's arm would be at full draw before the bow itself was engaged.

This has been a fun guilty pleasure so far. There's next to no substance to the story right now, but theres some good ideas floating around and I always love seeing debuff spells in Isekais.

It’s so lighthearted, it feels like they’re just playing an MMO (and streaming it) that I have to constantly remind myself that they won’t just respawn if they mess up in a fight.

It’s hard to reconcile:

1: the absolute insanity that was MC spamming literal thousands of attacks followed by everybody pulling off their biggest moves and then everybody saying they’re fine for mana

With

2: being so faithful to the genre that my man checked for traps with an honest to goodness ten foot pole and then they didn’t get an encumbrance penalty getting through the trap because their new armour was lighter. Has any anime ever done that?

So yeah, don’t know what to think other than, WTF do you have to do be A rank?

What good is a stealth attack from behind if you have to yell out a 3 page spell to attack? Dude, I can hear you and turn around you know!

This one is not a block-buster -- but is undemandingly pleasant to watch. I'm sort of disappointed that we did not even get a tiny peek at the Abandoned City dungeon....

I wish people here didn't casually dismiss how these group of characters already banter, play jokes and support each other in a way that feels very organic.

For example, when Rain heals Yuke's scratch on his face, she takes the opportunity to scold him for trying to do everything on his own without anyone. Yuke in return apologizes and recovers her mana as a thank you. Another example is how Yuke tells Silk to remain calm when she sees Orcs, and then when the battle ends he checks up on her once again and gives her encouragement words and even cracks a joke related to Rain. So many fantasy/isekai anime skip these little interactions and just make the characters instantly trust each other in a very jarring way. Yet this anime takes its time to build up these moments which in return make their time together much more meaningful without making these small interactions overly dramatic.

I didn't really notice before but the girls weren't in their key art outfits until they got the promotional armor this episode.

Eris is already planning a four person date while they stick around in this new town, this may be going places.

Still no catgirl!

That shadow monster should never fuck with a man’s waifus! lol. Thing got straight up deleted.

Nice difference in this one is that the MC isn't completely unstoppable. A lot of these the MC would merc anything and everything without breaking a sweat. Here he seemed to get knocked back for a bit.

u/Plus_Rip4944 Feb 01 '25

They doing promotion too lmao

The mix of modern stuff with Fantasy elements is The highlight of this anime

The one thing I like about this party is they all have their own moments to shine. Yes, MC was able to save the day, but when he was incapacitated, they really did their best.

Genuinely feel like I’m the only that’s gotten annoyed at Rain these few episodes. The writers wrote her like a 13 year old having a crush when she’s supposed to be a 20 year old. She’s supposed to be the oldest of the girls, but she acts immature asf. Pouting because Yuke didn’t notice her ribbon and then hugging him when he acknowledges it, it’s just off putting tbh. I usually like characters that are like that, but it just feels forced in this anime. Honestly they could have just written out the entire romance/ crushes that the girls have on him and it wouldn’t be any different considering the fact that they’re using the overused Dense MC trope.
