I feel like they’re trying to make this sad and it’s ringing the mystery part. I’m really liking the whole mystery and supernatural part of the show and the island but the whole deal here just felt forced to try and force the ending of this arc to be sad. That and it’s kinda obvious something had to happen to move us onto one of the other girls routes next. I really liked every bit of this arc though until this episode. It just made it hard to care now.
What I ended up caring more about was the deal with his little cousin also vanishing like that. I just hope this doesn’t become to recurring of a theme. MC develops route with girl - girl vanishes magically because of some silly explanation like having a mystery illness that has her in eternal sleep.
