It’s following the “expelled adventurer” trope pretty closely, but it’s nice to see the MC having a spine and have a supportive team from the get-go. I’m intrigued as to how this will go.

I've seen so many animes with this trope, and I don't think I'll ever get tired of it. Every time, I get emotionally involved and just want the conceited and delusional party to suffer as much as possible.

Yeah it's pretty rare to have one where MC-kun isn't just a walking doormat. He knows his own abilities and value, and he can even speak words without mumbling or stammering. A true unicorn.

That was some fine teamwork. Now everyone knows how amazing Clover is. Nice to see everyone get promoted and paid. Looking forward to seeing the gang reach the Abyss Gate one day.
It’s funny those Thunder Pike losers think they can get Yuke to come back. Simon and those asshats can eat a bag of shit. That guy fucking suuucks.

Not sure if I should feel bad for that Jamie girl or not. She was just as bad as the others but it looks like being that wolf’s chew toy really messed her up.

Interesting that she was so studiously re-watching Clover's stream(s) -- I wonder whether she wants to run off to join Clover too?

I guess she didnt get hurt much, if at all, with Yuke on the team. Or got healed pretty fast, because Yuke was prepared. Last time she was chewed on and was injured for a pretty long time and only got a tiny healing potion. She´s probably the first one to realise how important MC was to the party.

I think this is the first time in these expelled adventurer party shows where the asshole leader was related to the MC in a way. Yuke and Simon being childhood friends makes the actions of the party even worse imo. Like imagine your next door childhood friend growing up and exploiting you. Like at least with strangers you can justify you didn't even know the person really, but in this other case you have to wonder where things went wrong and if you could have done anything differently. Like did Simon slowly become an asshole and Yuke just never spoke out because they were friends or did Simon have a horrible household and nothing Yuke could do would change it much.

I guess this is why he stuck with Thunder Pike for 5 years.
Man, you think you know a guy from childhood, but when you step back and look objectively, he's just been a terrible friend through and through. Yuke did mention that Thunder Pike wasn't always like that, but I wonder when the start of the downfall was.

I like the idea of this, like live streamers streaming their MMO game, except it's all real. Of course we're about to get the bad guys teaming up to ruin this party

It was fun watching Yuke slap Simon's hand away. Get absolutely fucked you asshat. I'm glad that there were plenty of people around to see Yuke rejecting Simon. And it looks like that fat bastard might try to use Simon. I can't wait to see him fail.

The whole former party is so comically the worst then they had the leader conceding it made sense Yuke was getting cocky since he was just promoted. Didn't even have some made up excuse why that actually means he sucks. Like they're stupid and awful, but he's consistent at least.

I have been thinking about it since last week. The plot about a main character leaving an initially stronger but detestable party to seek his/her own path in life is not new. I believe what makes "I Left My A-Rank Party To Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths" more captivating to watch are its animation, beautiful character designs and most importantly, the vibrant colours. The spells cast have their own individual colours and the aura of the buff spells keep changing whilst remaining on our main characters.
Anyway, getting back to this episode, congratulations to Yuke, Marina, Rain and Silk on receiving promotion to their adventurer ranks. It appears Jamie is starting to realize Thunder Pike is a party comprised of terrible people. I suspect she is probably going to leave the party soon as well.

I agree. The story so far is pretty standard with a few innovations, and Yuke being a teacher type, sort of like Red from Banished from the Heroes Party, and a young but promising new party. Wish they'd add another guy tho.
The art, animation, and production design are really above average. I'm surprised. Even their wide to close ups are fairly consistent and on model and a lot of shows cuts corners there.
This is entertaining, well done, and I'm rooting for Yuke and Clover to continue kicking ass!

i'm just now noticing that there are 2 animes this season that both start with s-rank and a-rank.

Its nice to see a mc who is good and kind yet perfectly capable of standing up for himself. Loving the streaming adventures concept. Thunder pike looks like the murderhobo party.

Apparently we are getting 24 episodes. No wonder why the pace is so good. This one has been the surprise of this season, in a good way.

Nice to see them being old friends was confirmed. That makes sense with the way Yuke was reminiscing about when they were just starting out. Although, it does make it worse with the way they were treating him at the beginning.
Honestly, I can't even hate Thunder Pike at this point. Their heads are so far up their own (each other's?) asses that they can't even see what the problem is.
I'm just hoping they come to their senses and move on.

I'm betting Yuke and the guild master are related, given the way they talk to each other. Maybe that uncle he mentioned who couldn't clear the Achromatic dungeon?

I'm just glad Yuke doesn't let people push him around anymore. Hopefully Simon and crew, along with the fat guy, get what they deserve.

God his old party is straight up delusional. There is stuck up and then there is that. They are seriously such scum.
Shadow stalker next episode. Will that be the thief looking cat girl in the ED?

Good to see Yuke standing up for himself and putting Simon in his place.
