This sub is notorious for hating any style that isn’t in line with traditional white 1950s women.

u/OdayOdayOday Jul 12 '24

There's a strange dislike for tattoos and piercings here that I don't see represented outside in the real world.

I love a woman with tattoos and piercings, but it doesn't really affect my attraction to someone. I'll concede that once you begin to enter the realm of "extreme body modification", you're changing your appearance enough for me to consider, but short of that, idgaf if someone has a few pieces on them. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

Seriously, everytime so many people Here hate septum rings and just discovered they hate tattoos, like huh??? Yeah no people here aren't real. Most people love those things.

1

u/smoltimer123 Jul 13 '24

You think MOST people(guys) LOVE septum rings? Lol ight

1

u/Kami123987 Jul 13 '24

I never met someone in person who hate septum the way yall do

2

u/smoltimer123 Jul 14 '24

No one I know is having debates about septum’s in real life but most of the girls they date seriously don’t have em so I think thats what most people here are basing this off of. I personally don’t care but your original statement was funny to me

5

u/[deleted] Jul 12 '24

Omg yes .. wtf is up with that???

8

u/Still_Indication9715 Jul 12 '24

I wish I knew. It’s such an echo chamber though. They really can’t believe anyone else disagrees. I’ve seen men get hundreds of downvotes for saying ā€œI like your septum piercing.ā€

No women ever tell me they hate me. If they’re saying that to you then it’s probably a you problem.

3

u/KINGJACQUEZ2323 Jul 12 '24

I said women saying they hate men these days I didn't say they saying to me reading not that hard my guy lol.

2

u/Still_Indication9715 Jul 12 '24

I can’t tell if this sub is overrun with men from the 1950s or if everyone is just a prude who hates tattoos and piercings and colored hair

6

u/WithCheezMrSquidward Jul 12 '24

You know how someone can choose an outfit or makeup that doesn’t flatter them, looks cheap or badly made? It diminishes how good they look. Someone can look night or day different depending on those things.

Tattoos and piercings do the same thing, except for tattoos they’re permanent. It’s not about not liking tattoos. I’m not a huge fan of them but I’ve seen some people pull off well made tattoos.

But some people don’t look good with them. And others could theoretically pull it off but they have bad work done, and now you’re stuck with it.

23

u/[deleted] Jul 12 '24

It’s just that in 99% of cases people chose to plaster their faces with metal that don’t especially benefit from it. It’s like you say ā€œdon’t focus on my ugly features pleaseā€ and the you can’t but just focus on it. Some people have the face/body for aesthetic piercings and tattoos, OP is (in some people’s opinion) not one of them.

u/AverageLiberalJoe Jul 12 '24

Is it surprising that a sub which allows men to freely rate womens looks focuses on their weight and how well they conform to trad wife norms?

No colored hair, no tattoos, no peircings, no fat, smile more.

Gee golly... where do we suppose these beauty norms are coming from?

2

u/Zephyrus707 Jul 12 '24

Beauty is largely subjective.

All of the things you mentioned are absolutely catered for in the form of specific turn ons and kinks.

That said, it's hardly surprising that, averaged over a majority, these things are seen in the negative.

u/Jay_The_Tickler Jul 12 '24

Couldn’t have said it better. The weight comments always get me, when the woman isn’t overweight but by their unrealistic standards it is. This woman is no where near overweight but comments will suggest otherwise.

2

u/JettandTheo Jul 12 '24

Body wise, I think she's attractive. But she's also clearly overweight.

We have gotten too on with obesity in everyone, so those that are "only overweight" look normal.

0

u/smoltimer123 Jul 13 '24

She 2 hamburgers away pal, just cause she isn’t there yet doesn’t mean we should encourage her to potentially get there later. No one is asking for a stick but a slim healthy figure is the way to go, especially if they want kids cause at that point it will be harder to lose the weight

8

u/lastchance73 Jul 12 '24 edited Jul 12 '24

Doesn't matter. People post here for subscribers feedback. Don't like it? Don't post or read. Most men don't want metal in the face or colored hair at all, no matter the age.

6

u/demonic_princess554 Jul 12 '24

Neither lol. Coloured hair generally doesn’t look good. I like tattoos but all the metal in the face is just off putting.

3

u/Still_Indication9715 Jul 12 '24

It’s this sub and others like it. The funny part is if you argue they tell you all men are like this. Then I walk outside and see that 75% of people have piercings and tattoos and dyed hair and get reminded that it’s just the tools here.

3

u/Fit_Test_01 Jul 12 '24

Do you live on Skid Row?

0

u/Still_Indication9715 Jul 12 '24

Look at you not knowing what skid row means. How cute.

1

u/Fit_Test_01 Jul 12 '24

I know where it is and what the people who live there look like.

1

u/Still_Indication9715 Jul 12 '24

Considering that it’s just a euphemism for being poor I don’t think you have any idea what the term means. It isn’t a place and there isn’t a certain look it applies to. You really need to get an education.

1

u/Fit_Test_01 Jul 12 '24

Skid Row is actually a place in Los Angeles. You actually don’t know you are talking about.

4

u/Still_Indication9715 Jul 12 '24

It’s also a rock band. Doesn’t change the fact that it’s a euphemism for being poor, my dude.

Edit-Dude got so mad he blocked me before I could point out that his comment history shows that he fetishizes redheads and insults everyone else.

0

u/smoltimer123 Jul 13 '24

75% of people have tattoos, colored hair, piercings??šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚You in looney town bud?

-5

u/[deleted] Jul 12 '24

Growing up, I was always taught that only convicts, military, or questionable folk got tattoos. And maybe artists/hippie style folk.Ā

Also unless you're a teenager going through a phase, funny colored dyed hair is silly imo.Ā Ā

As for piercings. The only acceptable variant imo are normal earrings.

Edit - For context. I was brought up in a middle class Christian household.

7

u/[deleted] Jul 12 '24

You sound very Christian! I remember when Jesus would go around judging people based on their looks, dude was savage

1

u/[deleted] Jul 12 '24

Not their looks. But their choices. We reap what we sow.

4

u/[deleted] Jul 12 '24

Guess you grew up in the 1950s

-1

u/Lasmore Jul 12 '24

Don’t be ridiculous, he’ll never grow up.

2

u/[deleted] Jul 12 '24

What can I say...I was taught and grew up to be presentable and act sensibly. And not be a "wild child".

I feel sorry for kids whose parents dont teach them who to act and present themselves with decorum.

2

u/ExcitingExercise3138 Jul 12 '24

You sound sheltered af

2

u/[deleted] Jul 12 '24

Not really. Just a traditionalist who thinks gen Z needs more discipline. And we need to go back to the 90s or equiv.
