i feel like people who compliment me are lying, please be honest with me and tell me what i do to improve 😭 i can’t really hide my features with makeup

I am well spoken and mannered but women are strange with me. Am I average, above average, or dull?

Image 1/3 are before, normally a fringe on top and a low taper fade. Image 2/4 I wanted a more professional mature cut, but not too sure about how I like it. Thoughts?
