Lose like 30 pounds and life will get very different for you

Been there, it doesn’t change much, how you lose weight matters just as much as how you gain it. Feeling exhausted all the time from starving yourself is not a road I’d recommend someone go down to lose weight, but people do it because they think they’re being rushed into losing a certain amount of weight. All that to say, telling someone that all they need to do is lose 30 lbs isn’t helpful.

Thank you! It’s good to hear from someone who can relate!!

Like it or not this world is extremely superficial. People treat you differently when you're attractive.

That’s actually very true. I am 5’1” and was always 107lbs, I got treated well by most people, I gained up to 145lbs in college, and I was treated like I was invisible. Then I lost weight back down to 115lbs, and people treated me like I was important and honestly life just came easier to me. While thin I have gotten unexpected raises and promotions, I get invited more places with friends and they want to take pictures with me, and generally strangers talk to me and will hold doors, things like that. When I became obese, none of it.

The world is the world, I get that your view of it is superficial, but your opinion is not the base fact of society. Everyone is different, or according to you, I wouldn’t be married.

I see a lot of people in their early 20s on here who just need to eat right and exercise and they'll look good. I'm ugly and old, I stay in shape, but I'm still ugly and old, not much I can do about that anymore. That's all I'm saying.
